I got it for free along with the tv i bought, the s90c 55 inches in particular and trust me, it performes like any other flagship soundbar in the market and you will not miss out anything other than some connectivity options you get with others. You can barely understand the difference if you set-up this thing properly. I'm also a musician which means I'm very demanding when it comes to sound in particular, so i hope helped a bit. Of course it cannot be compared with anything custom made out of oak let's say, but in this price range you will not find anything better.

Disagreed, have you tried other soundbars? But yes, for the price, especially the cheaper one mentioned it's a great buy.

@@TotallydubbedHD Hey there friend, yes i have tried other soundbars but most were in the same price range appart from one which is probably one the best commercial soundbars out there the Sennheiser Ambeo who blew me away the moment i turned it on, but with that money you can build a custom with a much better outcome. Now anything else and i mean it isn't really that different than the q600c. If anyone wants something better in terms of sound, then it must have at least an mdf frame or real wood, but that is very expensive and only a few can afford it. On the other hand the mdf frame can produce a very descent sound with much much less money 🤑 🤑 🤑 🤑. Trust me on this.

@@antisystemicparadise1202 so, to claim this is the best soundbar when there are others out there, is incorrect. You don't need to spend the money on the Ambeo Max to get a better audio reproduction either.

@@TotallydubbedHD Ok, i won't say otherwise, i just pointed out my opinion on how good the q600c is compared to its price. Now of course if you pay an extra 200 dollars you can get something better, but is it really worth it??

For me surround mode with virtual mode on and some other changes in bass, woofer, centre and top will do the magic.

Great review. i’m trying to decide between this model and the Q700 C. Still not sure what the difference is between the two. Which would you recommend? Are the upward firing speakers better on the Q 700 C for Atmos? Thanks

Thanks! Yes they are, they're actual speakers rather than acoustic beam technology being used. But if you're really into Atmos content you might want to save and get the Q800C instead; it's far superior in delivering a wider and more engaging soundstage.

Thank you! Love your reviews. I went with a Q700C and am very happy, surprisingly so with streaming music. Really sounds excellent. The sub is sneaky good for the size. much better than expected for both movies and music.

Great video! Is it worth going for Q700C or Q800C? Q600C is currently selling for 349 €, Q700C for 440 € and Q800C for 499 €.

Being a 'Q' series soundbar, this definitely isn't entry-level. If it was a B450 or C450 (as examples), that would be entry-level. I bought my Q600C for $450 Canadian (plus tax) last October and then added the SWA-9200S rear speakers for an additional $250. It's a nice upgrade from my basic Samsung 2.1 soundbar that I got in 2015. The bass can be a little bombastic for my liking in games like Diablo 3, and in some (but not all) forms of music, but this is a great soundbar for movies. I do get the odd split-second audio dropout from time to time but that's about my only real complaint. Anyone who has ever come over to see movies on this soundbar was impressed with the experience.

@@chipbong81 the 600b has a really good centre for general use . I think dts sounds a lot more balanced than Atmos, which is a little harsh at higher volumes. But at 40 the volume is too loud for most lounges, so it isn't the worst. I am envious of your q800c already.

Q600c or lgsp8a or yamaha yas 209. I have a samsung au8000 tv which supports q symphony. Is Q symphony feature be a gimmicky or really gives an emmersive experience. All the 3 above come at same price. Already confused with yamaha and lg, now q600 added😅

I have a Panasonic GT50 plasma TV connected to original Acoustic Energy AE109 mark one speakers (made in Cirencester not the far east!. Real wood cabinets. Weigh 26kg each) through a dual mono amp. In short - a TV connected to a traditional stereo hi-fi set up that's good quality. I'm thinking of upgrading my TV to a 55" Samsung Q90C or Q95C. I'm thinking of buying this soundbar. Will it sound better than my hifi set up?

🎉i got the 600b with thr 9200s speakers, and i feel the standard sound with atmos or dtsx is better than the adaptive, surround, game settings. It sounds better in bluetooth for music, much smoother, but films have very good separation. The upfiring is a bit underpowered, but makes some noise. The woofer isnt very deep, but still very immersive for movies,with a good punch. I got this for £238, and £180 fot the rears, and thru earc it has had a great movie sound, with even some sound adjustments thru the tvs home menu. The only strange thing is that dts is shown as 5 channel pcm theu the tvs pass through. Atmos and digital read correctly. But in the q600b hdmi input dts is shown. Great soundbar. And virtually no different form the q600c. Great review 🙃

Try to set woofer value to 5 and change values of centre and top too. Also go to your TV settings to see anything like pass through or don't compressed audio like options. One thing connecting to HDMI eArc will give max sound output.

A 7 band equaliser can be activated by holding down the setting button on the control. And is also selectable by a Samsung TVs home bar settings, select up in standard sound mode. I don't need smart functions as my TV is voice enabled. This is a very good sounding bar, especially in hdmi for movies, but I think the Bluetooth sounds more balanced for music. Great review.

@@TotallydubbedHD I feel the sound is smoother than hdmi when using the Amazon music app. I use eArc for all other sources, except Now TV, which only outputs stereo PCM. I know this may be sacrilege, but it's louder and not as harsh. I'm old now, so you'll have to excuse me 🙃

@@TotallydubbedHD did you find much height from the 600c acoustic beams, cos I can hear sound, but 20 watts compared to 180 watts front channels seems a little feint 🙃
