I believe your review of the Hyundai sound system is right on the mark. 'Lackluster' is the perfect word to capture its overall impression. I'm a fan of the car, but this so-called 'premium' sound system has been one of my biggest letdowns.

I have new 2024 tucson with krell and It’s actually not a bad sound in terms of quality, but the sound focus is too central and seems to come primarily from the centre of the front dashboard. If the side speakers were louder it would be much much better.

Just got the Hyundai Tucson PHEV (top trim) since 1 month. The Krell audio system is very poor, even compared to basic audio systems in other car brands.

@@TotallyEV In BMW Harman Kardon, Nissan Bose, VW Fender, ... they had less (useless gadgets I will never use) features, but did have (nowadays basic) features like power folding side-mirrors, walk away auto lock, wireless apple carplay/android auto, much better layout and handling of digital cluster and settings, ...... now stuck with it for the next 4 years. Don't get fooled with all gadgets .... don't do a test-drive for only 1 hour, you need more. If you can't have it for longer, rent the car before buying. In sum, though I have highest trim with panoramic roof etc. huge disappointment.

The BMW HK systems are generally imperative, can't really say the same about the Bose one in the Nissans. But thanks for sharing!

Audio bluetooth is very poor BUT with android auto it's a game changer expérience ! I think there's a big problem with the bluetooth chipset implemented.

Didn't have massive issues but Bluetooth isn't recommended with most cars.
