Barely kept it together but the silent princesses around the tear just CRUSHED me during my playthrough and I bawled like a child.

the order of the tears, if desired is shown in the map room in the Forgotten Temple. and while it's not a Dragon Tear....a key component in the quest everyone leaves out....is Mineru's tale in the Spirit Temple of how the battle went when Rauru actually imprisoned Ganondorf

I didn't weep at her transformation into a dragon, but I was deeply affected, emotionally speaking. Even to this day, I still think about that scene and how powerful it was. But it only solidified my love for Princess Zelda as a character. To me, she is my favorite monarch, real or fictional. Her thoughts were always with her people, never herself. She has sacrificed so much throughout the series: --Her throne in Twilight Princess when Zant invaded her kingdom so that the warlord would spare them from annihilation, as well as her physical form (for a time) to save Midna's life. --Her freedom for 100 years in Breath of the Wild to seal away Calamity Ganon, as well as her freedom for an indeterminate amount of time in Skyward Sword to maintain the seal on Demise/The Imprisoned. --Her humanity and capacity for rational thought in Tears of the Kingdom for thousands of years in order to deliver the Master Sword to Link when he was able to use it again. Even her final thoughts were with her people instead of herself. Princess Zelda is frankly a leader and person that everyone should try to emulate. She may not be physically strong, but she has a strong heart, and her wisdom knows no bounds (as befitting her being the vessel for the Triforce of Wisdom). Her kindness and love for her people, even if it means giving up her own power, is something to be admired. Truly, she is one of the best video game characters ever made, and I cannot wait to play as her in Echoes of Wisdom!

Man I cried like a baby the first time I saw the cutscene. I hadn't gotten the Master Sword yet so I IMMEDIATELY warped to the Skyview Tower in Akkala to go pull it and then cried again when she flew away swordless Also an extra gut punch with the Silent Princesses: Zelda is the only dragon that doesn't make any noise. The other dragons kinda hum, but Zelda does not hum, and always flies with her head level, so she's been *literally* silently bearing this burden the entire time

All that time Zelda was alone. She knew she might be alone forever, yet her final thoughts weren't about herself or even Link, but about the safety of the people of Hyrule. Zelda always loved Silent Princess flowers, but could never get them to grow. We know now that they grow around Dragon Tears. Her Tears. As a Dragon, she was trapped, mindless and voiceless. A Silent Princess.

if everyone wants to be crushed more by how long our lovely dragon has been soaring the skies it's actually longer than 10,000 years the 10,000 year stamp is when the calamity was defeated/sealed not Ganondorf he would have had to been sealed at an earlier date for his malice to seep out enough for the calamity to show up in the first place. So with no actual time stamp to go by other than the calamity its been well over 10,000 years probably 15 - 20 thousand. Either way that's a long lonely time to be listlessly flying above the world waiting for your hero to reclaim his sword and not even remember why, who, or what

@@marydearest she also locked onto fixing/empowering the master sword and knowing in the back of her mind it was for a noble knight which is why i assume she calms down and lets it go when she senses that whomever is trying to take it is said knight or at least someone who fits or maybe she somewhere knows its Link deep down

The past is set here about 1 million years before TotK. Calamity Ganon has NOTHING to do with this Ganondorf as he does not possess the Triforce of power. The Ganondorf from OoT has it.

"How many years has she been like that?" 30,000 at the absolute least. I've seen most players theorize up around 30,000-50,000, which, I'm glad she's not *completely* "all there" in the head during that whole time but still...that's a long time to be flying around alone in an animalistic mind.

Apparently you got the master sword before the final memory, I wonder if you got spoiled by the cutscene of Zelda bathing the sword and knew that she was the dragon.

11:31 Why do people keep saying that they don’t know how far back this is? It was clearly mentioned that Rauru and Sonia founded Hyrule. 17:29 Well, you may find any memory at any time, but there technically is a correct order. You can see the correct order in the Adventure Log. 33:20 It was mentioned that Zelda has both Time and Light powers. She sent herself through time by accident. Like Mineru and Sonia said, the only problem is that she has no control over her powers. The only reason she was stuck in the past was because she didn’t know how to use her own powers. 45:34 Much longer than 10k years. Remember, 10,000 years ago was when the Sheikah and Hyrule were highly advanced and fought Calamity Ganon. The era of Hyrule’s founding is MUCH more ancient.

okay you watched the video, did you pay attention or were you just looking for something to whine about? the video has chapters labeled for tears 5 - 11, she clearly knows there's an order 😇
@g.masterlordoftheg-force47705 ай бұрын
@@joshnoble07 Why do people consider a mere correction a whine? Someone in the chat said “there is no correct order dw”. And you and I clearly know that’s not the case.
@@joshnoble07 No, seriously, read the comment in the video. Someone wrote that. You just gotta press the timestamp and read it. It takes less than 5 seconds.

@@g.masterlordoftheg-force4770 I read the comment!! what is so wild to me is that: 1. you are so hell bent on correcting a *chatter* who is never going to see your comment, and 2. you are calling your novella of pedantry a "mere correction". it's a game! if the order was so important it would be mandatory not free form!
