After releasing their XIV album in March, Toto fans all around the world were very excited to watch the best band in the world formed by the best and most popular musicians in the world!
"Running out of time" is also the first track on their new successful XIV album.

Excellent video Jimmy, Luke shows why he is such a versatile guitarist, he plays both rhythm and lead both equally well. His rhythm playing is part of his signature arsenal as was his rhythmic note pattern was on Beat It. This is one of favorite songs from ToTo XIV. Great Post! I'm just glad they didn't tape it in Middlefart Denmark as was one of the other posts that came up in my algorithm feed on KZfaq... Sounds like a town Luke would make up with his sense of humor.

Nice video, but the sound does it no justice at all. I saw these in Manchester two nights ago and they were absolutely immense. The quality of the musicianship and the sound was simply breathtaking

***** i went to see toto in manchester at the o2 apollo too. they were on fire that night. there is simply no band like toto at all. ive got a full mp3 recording of the manchester show with fairly good quality it should be up on my channel once its edited

Does the singer keeps his sunglasses on too when he goes to sleep ? Not sure what to think about the Toto live sound. I looooove the XIV studio album, but when I compare let's say Pete Townsend bringing Give blood live with Toto's live versions of Running out of time or Holy war, there really is a phenomenal quality difference: I don't know whether it has to do with the so so recording equipment, with a singer who's constantly on the tips of his toes to be able to reach the notes he is supposed to reach, I don't know. These guys are performing for sure, there's a solid experince there on those stages they play on, but somehow, they don't manage to really bring the magic spark to the public, and vice versa. It misses what the French call that "je ne sais qoui", that little extra that makes the difference between a fine technical performance and pure magic. But I'm the first to admit XIV was an astonishlingly strong studio record, that earned much more commercial success as it received. Especially after a number of so so albums, it was good to hear the band making arts & crafts songs again !

glamchris12 David Hungate had some kind of injury as I read on FB somewhere. Great he was there though....

+glamchris12 He had a injury on his back and played the first concerts on the tour with a bass stand. Nothing but a BIG compliment that he did it though. David and the other bandmembers (including Mike) were so happy that they were able to do this tour together. It was a sort of closure thing for David to go back on the road once more with his greatest love TOTO at the age of 68. We are very grateful......Hands down for David Hungate!

+hijackerjoy I'm not (like some others) in the venue with pro recording tools to prepare an illegal publishing. Just filming with my mobile to give an impression for the fans who were not there. If you wanna hear the real shit, then buy a ticket or the legal hardcopy.

Nice to see Hungate back with the band, if only for nostalgia purposes. He looks totally out of place, like somebody's grumpy old father who stopped shaking his cane at people to get off his lawn long enough to play with the group. His pedigree is long, and he's a legend, but from a personality mix, he's not even close to the energy of Nathan East, isn't as good as Leland Sklar, and can't sing like Shem Von Schrek.
