I am SO glad that I would never have to compete against you or try to emulate you! The more I watched the video the more I smiled and even chuckled out loud when the magic capo started moving. I remember the first time I played this song. It was in a brass band and I was playing tuba. I feel in love with this song then and still listen to it. Today I heard your version, and I think you got all the small things with you in this version. Nice job. I am still impressed by what you can do with one guitar, on tuba I can only play 1 note at the time so I need friends to play with. ❤

At the beginning it wasn’t clamped so it’s able to slide down , u see he pushes it down once it slides into place

I think I have figured out the capo trick. Initially the capo was not secured in place….like it was never there….it was free to slide. At 40 seconds it slides freely to the third fret, and is then secured and tightened in place. Have I solved the capo mystery?
