I don't remember how many times I've seen Steve Lukather live (with his solo touring band, Ringo Starr and Toto) or how many times I've talked to him backstage after a show. I do remember that he was always gracious and funny. The season 4 finale features a chat with Steve Lukather about his solo album, Bridges.

Steve is one of the most accomplished yet humble and kind people on the planet. His honesty is refreshing. Many of us in rock used to dye our hair and Steve looks cool as fu&k with his new natural color. Thanks Steve for inspiring and teaching me and showing us how to be humble. 🙏

Hey Steve, to answer your question “hope everyone likes it”. As usual you one bettered it. I love it! I turn all my friends onto it, and guess what! They love it! So hope that answers the question. Hope your workin on the follow up. Saw ya with ole flow, Ringo at the 50th Wood Stock. What a great time that was. Anyway, love your stuff man. This was a great interview BTW. Mr. Lukather... you evoke that nice but unusual feeling, that I know you personally. But I know I don't, it's just because the music you've been involved in is SO GREAT... I've heard/seen you for many hours. And you talk through that guitar/music... so you feel very familiar. May the good adventures continue!! 🙂🧡

kool beans ....amazon delivered my Bridges CD today so this vid came at the perfect time.......Steve is the most accessible and talented player of all time....he has opened such a window into the world that us hacks could only wish for......so open and happy to share. Not enough can be said of this Force of Nature with his guitar,voice and intensity of purpose. Anyone that wants more of this kat needs to buy his book , then set aside an entire day 'cause you won't be able to put it down. I promise......

What can i say? Steve you kill me with you voice and with your loving Album sound and loving musician. / U grow up with this produktion. hope so goes on .congratulations .sorry. but I think it's very good that you have your great mat. That's honest and really great. Thank you for including my favorite drummer in your project. the best move you could make.

Love that dude so much. His new album is gold. I wish he had not held back his solos as he is a STELLAR soloist (and could pick anybody's ass if that was his goal)....but, humble as he is, I understand why he put the song first. Some journalist once asked Eddie VH how it felt to be the greatest guitar player in the world, to which Eddie answered " you wanna talk to the greatest guitar player ? Call Luke"...
