Where I live in SW England they have introduced the same system... Yet it doesnt work. I have entered many buses expecting to just "Tap on" so I can "Tap off" using the other reader. In reality, the machine does nothing and I have to tell the driver where Im going for the cheapest ticket available which makes this whole "TOTO" system defunct!

Why not have a system like London the oyster card Bus service very expensive in Glasgow For a rubbish bus company when buses don't turn up cut cut cut services It's time First bus leaves Scotland we don't want you anymore put First Scotland up for sale asp

This is a system like oyster and I think you'll find that everywhere has buses that don't turn up it's almost like there's a very well-reported shortage of bus drivers nationwide at the moment

Adjust the timetable considering that bloody shortage then, its a lottery when it comes which bus at this particular hour will actually turn up, just moved back from Germany and already regrets

I believe that every contactless card used by passengers are on their servers given a unique identifyer and each card is not charged until that time, 7 days later (a week) they state will only charge the cheapest rate, so if only used it to tap on the off at the same stops on the same day of return, you'll be charged the return rate 7 days later.
