Fantastic, Awesome ! what a great initiative by Cicia Is in reverting to organic. One way to be sucessful at something is to have a point of difference. Anyway it was ancient traditional methods that im sure most farmers on the island were practicing already. Also what an amazing high school, the motivated students, the dedicated teachers and inspirational principal and the supportive parents/islanders. Its any wonder the students and school is a success. The young teacher being interviewed was very articulate and also the students, very impressed with their command of english for a remote island school where english is only spoken at school. Hopefully their island high schools sucessful formula is being emulated around Fiji. Fijian kids need a good solid education regardless of where they live should they wish to be sucessful in modern Fiji. On a personal note, my maternal grand aunt Tai was married to one of the turaga ni koro in Cicia. She regularly came to stay with my Bubu(her sister) in Suva. When ever i visted them and showed interest in Cicia she always insisted for me to visit the island one day. I was always keen but alas we migrated abroad and since living away i heard that they had built an airport and then my dear grand aunt died. Now that i could see utube videos of the island, i'm impressed and therefore keen to hopefully fulfill my grand aunts wish one day and visit her grave.
