Great stuff as always. It seems links are only coming off 1m or so and holding Vs getting up further and shutting. When do you look for a shut Vs hold ?

Next video coming out later this week will talk about an option for that. But personally for older ages I like the hold and younger ones a straight shut down.

@@touch.screen Is that because the shut requires more speed back to the line and up? Or something else?

@@csm5050 that is a good point, but I use shut down with the younger ones as they are still developing their long pass. And even if you have an odd player that can hit the winger they have to wind up to throw which takes too long. So you can afford to leave the open side winger unmarked

What drills do you think can improve someone's individual line D? Particularly footwork, body position and reaction time. Do you think cone or ladder drills are helpful? Thank you
