I doubt there will ever be a Peter Pan anime. It's a bit of an odd case because the original book, Peter and Wendy, is public domain in various jurisdictions, but the author gave the rights to the charity Great Ormund Street Hospital and requested it not go public domain to continue supporting said charity. As a result, the Great Ormund Street Hospital maintains an "eternal" copyright on Peter and Wendy in the UK (however, since last decade, even the US no longer recognises it). So in theory, there CAN be a Peter Pan anime, but it wouldn't be allowed to be released in the US or UK unless royalties were given to the Great Ormund Street Hospital. Even Disney had to cough up for their films. :P
