You can make even more - you can receive note data, аnd make from it a brand new visuals using chop to top - then feedback loop and vola. I cant wait to get my hand on this!!!

Or! We can make switches in touchD, that changes visuals, and use bitwig information to select. Imagen plaing piano and visuals are adapting to the octave that you in.

@@Lumaa_Lexi would love chord recognition for that, too, ha!! I imagine different types of forms and colors for minor chords, than major chords and so on :) but i guess that’s not supported yet

Thanks for the overview! Do you know if the "Read Audio Envelope" toggle in the bitwigTrack component would bring in the sound proper as well? Or is it just number data? It would be great if you can export a movie file from TD with that audio track for instance, trying to understand how to go on about doing that.

its just number data and i guess the resolution is not high enough to render wav with that. maybe record everything with obs in realtime? or bounce offline in bitwig to audio and record visuals on the fly in TD to video then combine it in a video editor

I don't like needing to open terminal to get programs to work. Really want to get TouchDesigner working though....

@@PolarityMusic There was an error when installing a key on mac. got it working and watched this video again and made my first audio reactive visuals. Thanks Polarity!

@@ndf3 You can find a list of features on their website that paid licence unlocks, but it’s nice that they offer free option instead of 14 day trial or something. Get started, learn the program and pay for the commercial licence if things ever get to that point. 👍
