Simple question - would i be able to make noise patterns in touchdesigner and "port" it to unreal and afterwards apply those patterns to a sphere/ plane. In short drive displacement in unreal from procedural greyscale tops in touchdesigner?

For that I would suggest watching this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q9qeaJmkx5-XYJc.html You’d be better off using textures than CHOPs because CHOPs are pretty expensive in TouchEngine. I think the new TouchEngine also supports texture I/O, so if worth looking up the documentation.
