Linh I somewhat agree with that but coming to the show and then getting some advice that won’t work in the long run isn’t good for that person either, they give advice without knowing the full knowledge of their problem, an alcoholic could come to the show and the advice they give is ‘try to drink less’ like that’s gonna help them, hello counselor should have at least one actual guidance counselor that’ll give professional advice, that knows what they’re talking about and dealing with. Coming to this show does nothing for some.

park baekhyun it's a national show and many people would spot you afterwards. Most of the time, the problem lies in the culture Korea has surrounding drinking, like the literal drinking to the point of no return and it's normal to drink literally every day there while you're younger. Also, most Asian cultures see shame as a much bigger problem than alcoholism, which is why most of the time, the advice works against alcoholics. People see them and call them out or talk about them and they don't like it. Many of them shape up after the show so that people will stop talking about them. However, they do consult Dr and psychologist sometimes, but these are all sent in voluntarily so if the person doesn't seek therapy, or in some cases, the police, the show can't do anything about it. They've had many guests who submit a concern, get picked, but then turn down the show bcuz of the shame it would bring only to submit the same concern yrs later.

I think instead of OCD, she has OCPD, which is a personality disorder, that they like routine and getting their way, and hate anything that gets in it. OCD causes anxiety, and many people associate it with cleanliness, but it can be other things as well, like colour-coding everything, everything in even numbers etc. When I was watching it, she doesn't seem to have anxiety but she doesn't like it when people get in the way of her cleaning and changing the way the she wants the house looks or feels.

I don't think the pith of the problem is psychological; the source of her behavioral change may be due to a lack of proper pain management, hence the need to "distract" herself to the point of obsessive tendencies to take her mind off/away from the pain. Major injuries that leave you debilitated and in great pain can trigger anxiety, depression, personality changes, etc.

Slay Yixing i knew it was ocd just from the title but heres the only thing that i hate in hello counselor.lost of the people that come on this show do have mental disorders and its 0bvious hut they neverr touch the subject of mental disorders cuz they like to keep it family friendly and fun and less dramatic but that aint the truth

@@irisukk1312 this is really late but I want you to know that yes they may have avoided the possibility of a serious mental disorder but what they tried to highlight is that no matter what your circumstance is it’s wrong to speak to your parents in that manner what they’re trying to do is to get the daughter to maybe understand that her actions might be really hurtful for her mom to bear. they’re not professionals which is literally why they can’t say omg you 0bviously have a mental disorder but they’re right in that she shouldn’t put all of her stress onto her family

@@ireneoh00 in my country no matter how old you are if you talk like that to the person that fed you, makes/made sure you have a roof over your head, makes/made sure you have clothes to wear, carried you for 9 months and birth you..... You are basically a dead man/woman walking. Talk to them like that you can get out of the house. So i agree with you. Respect your parents no matter what.

If you actually watched the video, she said she doesn't really like cleaning. In most part, it's just a reliever for her love for sport because she couldn't work hard anymore. Her father is more likely to have OCD, if anything. :D

How can you say they haven't solved the concerns.....they have solved many concerns of course.....if you are that much dissatisfied....be in there position and try to solve.....some were not solved because of the serious concerns and the rude people....how can you even say they left the people begging for help....you are not eligible to watch this program.....people like you always try to damage the reputation......live nicely and try to acknowledge the efforts they are putting....stupid people must change...like.....

Yes maybe but I think there are tons of light therapy excercise to sweat and help her back, cleaning actually would make her back worse
