Vladdy was injured last year - wrist and leg injury. Regaining pre injury form and technique is not as simple as many people think.

Gaus just needs to change his approach, if he can figure out another pitch it will go a long way like how Kikuchi has mastered his curve ball usage.

How hard is this for Barker talking about Vlad. Everyone watching games can see Vlad sees HAzel like an Aunt. They have a great relationship which means off air Barker and Vlad are prolly close as well. So for him to come on and be expected to lay into Vlad, its gotta be tough. Ultimately this city i think loves Vlad and wants him long tem but it has to be at the right price. I used to think Vlad was gonna get paid like one of the best 1st baseman (27-29 a year) and now i dont think he is worth 12 a year.

In the fall of 2023 according to Spotrac on Vladdy his market value was $426 million over 12 years -- with an average annual salary of $35.5 million. He was ranked as 7th in MLB and 1st as First Base position player according to statistical production over previous two years. By contrast in 2023 Vladdy was paid $14.5 million which is equivalent to 97th in MLB and 8th for First Base. So the Jays are undervaluing him and underpaying him; can this contribute to his underperformance? (rhetorical question)

@@rccyberwarrior2267 freeman is super poor to him any day of the week. His only hope would be pulling the 21 year every year to make 400. They are on crack.
