lol what the heck was up with Meiling's shot? ball just drops on the floor and starts rolling as if a kid kicked it, goalkeeper still gets blasted away when trying to stop it O_o the laws of physics just glitched.

Just because it's rolling along the ground doesn't mean it can't have a crap-ton of force behind it. Bowling balls roll, and they can have some serious impact.

As jokey as it looks, I think Meiling's special of the few kicks that can get by Letty's SGGK. It also appears to have a good chance to get by any other goalie as well. It just *looks* stupid.

It’s due to the fact that it’s not only a ground shot but one of the best ground shots in the game. Like easily Top 3 best. This makes it ridiculously hard to stop especially since most GK specials are subpar against ground shots. The biggest downside to the shot is its high decay (as the animation shows lol), but Meiling’s high Trap stat circumvents that with good positioning. She even has high Guts and Recovery to boot to let her use this move often. She may be the “joke character” of the group, but this shot is anything but a joke (besides visually).

You do realize she is chinese, zun is Japanese, this ENTIRE GAME is PRO JAPANESE (so is the entire Touhou verse)? Enogh said about that. She got no real special skill but the most bland one because of that (btw. this here is a fangame so ZUN had nothing to do with that. In fact Meiling is quiet epic on her own accord in proper titles and the anime (not to mention i have yet to see her Last World ultimate wich will be epic given she a martial artist)

given its touhou and gensokyo, those where lunatic bastards anyway so no reason to grief them. Yea 10 minutes of lorechecking and one knows why Kaguya LEFT the moon, why Raisen does not WANT to go back there etc. Proper anime or crossover? Realy? Vegetto would blow that thing up 10fold for those girls (as he would be the only one REMOTLY strong enogh to pull that off XD). Imagine them going as crazy as a certain loreconform EU4 mod on this with an anime that is ACTUALY not only fun and play, but also serious. One would start hating them lunatics like within 10 minutes of the opening.
