Toulouse is the Capital of Occitanie region in the southwest of France. Nicknamed 'The Pink City' (ville rose), due to the colour of the predominant bricks, Toulouse has a marked southern European feel and charm. The city is on the axis of communication between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It is about 100 km from the Pyrenees and the borders with Andorra and Spain.
