I can only say wow. I have not seen a dairy farm ran like this before. Such professional people. Them cows look so happy to be there. Absolutely enjoyed watching what you do. The best thing is there is nothing wasted. Way different from when I milked cows 40 years ago in Australia

Really nice. I love how the calves have the freedom to lay in the sun. I love that you grow feed for the cows. The cows look healthy. I see they were chewing their cuds when they came out of the milking parlor. Florida is nice for cows. Your cooling system is nice. I have 4 cows and one is milking. I love cows and milk. I don't know howto make hard cheese tho. What's your brand of hard cheese? I like to get cheese from farms I like.

Two farms I was on feed cow in barn while milking had fans to keep cow cool . Had water sprinklers in a free stall barn

I’m a retired driver been there hauling a idly free stall barns one time was so wet from all the rain had to get pulled in and out with a John Deere bull dozer and came back and unloaded next to office and scales

Great concern and it is what any responsible citizen ought to do, but it has become very difficult and next to impossible. Let us start with the big Tech companies which use them underground, hotels, restaurants, grocery stores... the list is endless. The farm comes in way below the list. They claim these guys are very cheap, loyal, more hardworking, easy to manage .... At the end of the day, a huge percentage of employees choose to take the up. Sad but Real.

claves don't have the immune system when they are born like humans do and it takes a while for their immune system to start working

Would you want to drink dirty milk? Eat dirty food? I'm pretty sure I wouldn't and my calves don't either, the utensils used such as bottles or buckets are cleaned after every feeding.

They use sex semen so they get 90-95% female calves and yes they raise female heifer that is the main point of any dairy farm.

Beautifully maintained farm I hope you did not doing the that kind of things which are heppens in other farms like separating calfs imigdiatly from their mother and some time kills the male calf I am sorry to asking about this because your body language was very nice but I watch some videos about this and I become very upset

Calves should be separated as soon after birth as possible to ensure they get enough colostrum and to protect them. Cows aren't always sweet and lovely - they can be terrible bullies especially to other cow's calves. And having mixed aged calves in with the cows would be a recipe for some calves going hungry due to older calves stealing milk and not allowing the younger ones to nurse. It would be a lot harder to spot unwell calves in a huge herd like that. It's just not practical, safe or healthy to leave the calves in with the main herd.

Which bit was nasty? I did not see even one pile of poop in the water. It's a way of keeping the cows cool, extremely important for somewhere as hot as Florida. Cows feel hot long before you even feel warm. Their perfect temperature is when you'd need a jacket.

I am very surprised to see many, many cows in standing water in a barn that should be flushed clean at least once a day.

You’d be even more surprised at an actual dirty farm. This is a cleaner facility. I worked one day at a place here in California: absolutely filthy, cows were in terrible conditions and everything was covered in manure. I trust this guy way more than my former boss.

It's Florida. It's hot. Cows enjoy standing in water when it's hot. Cows are hot long before humans feel warm - their perfect temperature is when you are rugged up in a jacket. I do not see one cow pat in that water and, as he said, they are free to go and sit on the sand bed area at any time.
