Regina is the capital city of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Be amazed of the beauty of this city on a fall season. We've chosen to go on a holiday (Thanksgiving day) to avoid too much traffic which is not how the city looks like on regular days. Enjoy!

Is Downtown residential or strictly commercial or mixed? Secondly as an immigrant, what part of the city would you advise me to rent my first apartment, the beautiful part, so my children won’t be discouraged.

It’s a combination of residential and commercial. The nearer you are in the developed area, the more expensive you’ll pay. Additionally, you should also take a note if the area is safe or not. There are different factors you should consider before you choose the right location for you and your family. I would suggest to survey the area first before you take a move and be locked-in on a lease.

Regina isn’t a very dangerous city. You could also stroll around and enjoy the city’s surroundings.

Every small cities looks like hunted during non-rush hour. But wait until everyone is on their way home. You'll be surprised about where did everybody come from, and the whole city will be full of cars too... :)

@@Stef_phanie google it. Unfortunately there are a lot of druggies and gangs, its not safe to go out after night. Most people drive. The crime rate it very high.

I don’t think it’s a dangerous city. There are some areas that we can say is dangerous to live, but not the whole city is dangerous. Anywhere is dangerous if there’s someone who really wanna hurt somebody.
