Tour Bus Tour - with JP and JR

Back on the Images and Words and Beyond tour, Dream Theater graciously made us a few behind the scenes snippets. In the coming few weeks, we'll be uploading a few of these. The first of which is a tour of the tour bus that Dream Theater uses while driving from venue to venue.

It's a funny thought, but a poignant one too. I have followed then since 1992 and they have always seemed more like cerebral, consummate professionals. Honestly that is a little part of why I have been such an ardent fan. They have passion and love music, but they are good level headed guys. I think everyone of them had been married 20+ years too! No debauchery, drunkenness...just great virtuosos that bring us the greatest of metal.

LOL really. I wonder if Jordan is ever doing anything but music. I think he was constructed in the garage out of spare parts of former great keyboard players. Although the DT guys do enjoy adult beverages now and again, from JP and his bourbon to Mangini and his red wine.

the best band in the world the best guitar player in the world the best keyboardist in the world, I had the opportunity to go on three shows of Dream Theater it's amazing to see this band playing so many years with an absurd technique with the clarity of the sound I hope they return to Brazil thanks John Petrucci.

Pretty much the same as most other tour busses. The only real difference is that this one is actually tidy. They're usually an absolute mess, especially the back lounge. Good on you for keeping it clean 👍

This is super cool! Just curious: I know the band has their practice rooms at venues they play at. But do they practice on the busses? I would imagine they have to play/practice constantly with the amount of music they have to memorize. Cheers!
