Do some vids on how you set your tanks up. Also do one on what you do in your fish room daily. Show us your outside ponds please 🙏

Yeah no dramas, actually a good idea on the tank set up. I want to do a better outdoor pond one just need to do it when my partner is home so she can hold the camera, hard trying to film and do the ponds

Have you ever tried turning one of those flower pots into a DIY box filter? It would free up more space in your smaller tanks.
@Fin2FinAquariums5 ай бұрын
No haven't really thought of that, I might have to have a look and do a trial. I like the sound of that thanks for the idea

I like your fishroom and choices of fish, also i like how you use the terra cotta pot for plants 🪴 I’ve started that myself a few weeks ago… new to plants myself. Great tour mate im new to your channel new sub well earned⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thanks much appreciated, yeah I think the pots look pretty good and they are just easier than actual planted tanks

Nice fishroom / selection of fish mate :) what brand of sponge filters are you using?

Nice clean tanks, mate. How come with all that intense lighting you don't appear to have any algae? I grow guppy grass floating in a tank with no lighting, the tank is shaded by my spare fry tubs being stored on it. Have to throw a bunch out every few weeks.
@Fin2FinAquariums5 ай бұрын
Yeah the lights are from bunnings not proper aquarium lighting, but more than bright enough I thought might get some algae. I have noticed the tubs in the middle already are showing algae and don't have lights. Think I need to use them tubs to try the guppy grass perhaps.

Love all the varieties! Do you have any future plans with crosses?
@Fin2FinAquariums5 ай бұрын
Thanks, yeah I have been thinking about it. Once I set up the next little room I will have some extra tubs so will most likely start experimenting.

I do have one cross in the collection I'm working with a friend on that I forgot, but definitely curious to try some others and see what can be done, I subscribed to your channel that's very interesting, can't wait to see more videos on your progress.

@@Fin2FinAquariums Thanks! I’m always curious what the outcomes can be and what (if anything) can be predictable. Everyone’s fish have different pedigrees and the results aren’t always the same. Looking forward to seeing your update videos too!

Do you find it worthwhile buying your fish online ? Ta mate
@Fin2FinAquariums5 ай бұрын
Where I live in a small country town I don't have much choice, pet shops are terrible. Probably 70% of my collection has been online bought been pretty much, they generally have more choices to than shops. I do always get something tho when I go to the city from the aquarium shops, can't gelp myself LOL

Hey mate, Nice tanks....what are you using to get your fry basket to float?
@Fin2FinAquariums5 ай бұрын
Hey mate, the baskets just float on their own nothing needed.
