Beware if you ever switch your processor in your computer or upgrade your computer. Most likely you will have to repurchase your prosim license. This happened to me last year when I switched my processor to the biggest one for my motherboard. I decided not to repurchase and I went with airmanager. I cut my 737 displays to fit the whole size of the monitors I have, it now looks more like a more modern cockpit. I then purchased the pmdg and programmed my overhead with spad.next, worked beautifully. then got a virtual cdu for the pmdg and pop out manager to pop out my mfd to a screen. But if you change your computer make sure they don't skunk you... I learned the hard way, but I'm happier now because I fly the pmdg not the prosim version of the plane, no wing flex or good sound package at least when I had it. Take care.
@B738DIY6 ай бұрын
Thanks for the heads up. I'm sorry to hear that you had issues with prosim. So far I have not had issues upgrading or changing computers. But that is probably dependent on having a active prosim upgrade license, which hasto renewed each year.
@braneden5 ай бұрын
@@B738DIY ok I don't think I had that, as far as I know. I did lose my pfd, nd But realistically I could pop those out from the pmdg as well, but with airmanger and have an old style horizon from a 727 I think and a regular old hsi, then pop out my mfd down in the center area. I'm really satisfied because every switch switches in the pmdg pretty cool but prosim wasn't too bad either. Take care.

Does the ProSim 737 for MSFS have much more detailed systems than the PMDG?

Brilliant work. Your seamless screens are superb!!!. Looks as if you were on the RNAV (GPS) Y RWY 4 for KLGA? I assume 🤔 that those chairs will eventually be tossed into the Hudson?😄 PS: That approach, on a clear day, is so enjoyed for left seat passengers - well until DNNIS fix then it's not so pretty. Your 800 flight-deck everywhere is spot ON! - Regards....

I know nothing about flying a plane but I find this super cool. I was wondering during the part of the video where you are talking about the specs of the computer running this. You are flying in the SIM. Yo are moving the yoke around a lot both back and forth and side to side. However the plane is pretty steady in the filed of view. Why so much motion on the yoke?

You did an amazing job, im 13 and wanna become a pilot. I want to have something like this to learn. Nice job!!!
@B738DIY5 ай бұрын
Thank you, glad you like it! If you want to become a pilot, I would suggest you spend your energy towards proper pilot training. The time and money required to make something like this, is a significant fraction of what is required to becoming a real pilot :) In addition you have the issue of learning bad pilot habits when practising on your own. The Mentour Pilot channel has a video on the topic: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/op5jl8KrmK20laM.htmlsi=rpn2AtsnzleLRJc6. Best of luck on your journey towards becoming a pilot!!

Brilliant getting the cockpit light to match the outside light. Is there a "sensor" or something in MSFS that you can tap into, to get the lux or "world brightness" or something?
@B738DIY6 ай бұрын
I looked through the available variables in MSFS, however I did not find any related to light flux, brighness etc in the cockpit. The solution I'm using is a Philips Hue sync bar (could use the Hue app) for two colored ambiance bulbs. I'm also running ScreenBloom for two Hue white ambiance bulbs.

How did you create the view shift via a switch in MSFS? I want to do this with triple 85” TVs. Are you using Immersive LCD Pro to warp the views correctly?
@B738DIY2 ай бұрын
I'm not using any aditional sofware. I saved rotated custom views in MSFS (Ctrl + Alt + number) and added select view key press to a button in FSUIPC (Alt + number). The views was fine adjusted in the camera.cfg (find the correct one as there are severeal camera.cfg in the packages folder)

Hi. Amazing job. Anyway I've a question for you. How do you split MSFS views output on multiple LCD screen ?. I'm using and testing MSFS's experimental feaures to create a three monitor view but even if I get an acceptable result most of the time, some times the views on the screen are mixed and I must to delete it and recreate an this is very annoying.
@B738DIY5 ай бұрын
Hi, I'm also using the experimental feature in MSFS. I have also experienced issues with the settings becoming corrupt. Fortunately it has only happened a handful of times. I have no idea on what causes the issue. My start up procedure is to turn on my TVs before starting the pc and MSFS to ensure that the screen config is not changing while MSFS is running
