Wow, thank you for sharing your set up secrets! I am just starting out with stop motion in an equally small nook in my apartment and there have been several puzzling bits --both in dealing with the set itself and how to fit everything into such a small space. This video has given me lots of ideas of how to approach these puzzles.

Thanks for the informative and cool video!! :D You may have tried this already, but I was wondering if you have looked into adjusting the tension in the ball joints of your manfrotto arm? I believe the ball joints can be adjust using the large hex nuts on the arm, it's hard to find information online and my arm didn't come with a manual so I am not totally sure though.

Thanks. Yes, occasionally one of the balls in the locking mechanism of my Manfrotto arm jumps out of place and I need to take it apart to put it back. The main hexnut does control the tension and I try and get this as tight as possible afterwards. The droop could be anywhere along the arm, including where I clamp it to my desk.
