Wow it looks a lot like the UK just the houses are more modern in the Netherlands but I love the suburban layout

As for the fridge. You can set additional fridge in the schuur like a lot of people do. That fridge you own now was enough for the larger family. I believe the previous owner installed all the walls on the 3d floor, dividing the space and allocating a room for an every newborn. I think you can check if you could remove those walls with the proper inspector.

1. Yes, many people do install freezers there. We don't use freezer much. Installing a fringe in the schuur - not sure if it would be useful. 2. Correct. We can remove at least one wall and we're planning to.

its a cute little house but the hight of that oven and general placement of it is driving me mad!

I agree 😅 The worst part is that setting handles on the oven is so high you can't see the setting icons, so it's hard to understand what mode you're setting.

Haha, that's not ours. The previous owners kept a kids ramp underneath it. It's a nice way to replace some ugly plastic cover 😅
