This is a great camper for 1 or 2 people. We just went to Yellowstone from Maryland this year. I put a Dewalt tool box mounted on the left rear bumper for my Black tank hoses and associated equipment to keep that out of the outside storage. Get a memory foam mattress and a small folding table , you don't have to set the table up. We have had our 145rb for 2 1/2 years and never missed the table we put a new mattress on it the day we took delivery. Order a spare therminstor for your refrigerator nothing worse then having that go out and waiting several weeks for one when you have the biggest trip of your life planned a month away. Enjoy your Jayco

I put a full sized air mattress on those cushions and it makes for a lot better sleeping. Wish they put a full sized toilet in them. I also used some angle iron to add a small metal box on the bumper, you can move the spare over some and there is room. Also got an inverter and a generator. You can boondock for a lot longer.

🇨🇦 🌞🔥🌞🔥🌞🔥🇨🇦 I have this exact model but a 2015 which I pull with my Dodge Caravan. I am within my ratings. I travel with my dog 🐕. I LOVE IT! I turned my so called closet, 12" deep, into a pantry. I put the adjustable metal shelving strips and shelves. Best thing I ever did!!! Easy to access for silverware, no drawers in the trailer, pots and pans, dishes, cups, glasses, tin foil, napkins, dogs water pail, flashlights, sunscreen, bug repellant, etc. I used two way sticky tape to attach cupboard storage bins onto the inside of the pantry door and the door under the sink to hold the bug spray, sunscreen etc. No chance of spilling that way. You do have to allow for room inside the cupboard to accommodate the bin. I have a multi coat hook, made to hang over the door, for my jackets to hang on the outside of the door. My jackets aren't really in the way going in and out. This trailer only has a 16 gallon fresh water tank. Not enough for a flushing toilet and shower. The holding tanks aren't much better. I use the campground facilities most of the time. I've gone from a tent trailer to my trailer so it doesn't bother me. I do use use the toilet but in a very different way. I only use it for "minor" business and only at nightime. I stretch a smaller sized garbage bag over top of the toilet bowl, put the seat down to help hold the bag in place. I put kitty litter in the bottom of the bag, just enough to take on the first pee. Once finished, I cover the wet litter with just enough new litter to cover the wet. Being a woman, I bag the toilet paper separately. By doing this, you can use the toilet, again for night time use only, for a long weekend without having to change the bag. If you use alot of litter, it will fill up too fast and you will have to change the bag. Greatest thing, NO SMELL! All "major business" is done at the campground facilities. At the end of your weekend, pull the bag and put it in the garbage. No different then disposing cat litter. Easy peasy! Again, the size of fresh water tank/holding tank is just too small. A few flushes or a shower or two and you're out of water and in need of dumping your grey and black water. My way, no dealing with moving your trailer to the dump station. I use my sink for washing my face/hands and brushing my teeth. It only produces "grey water". I wash my dishes at the campground facilities or haul water and do them on the picnic table. When my grey tank is full, I empty the GREY water from the dump outlet to a tub that fits under the trailer. I pour the GREY water into a pail (easier for me to carry being a woman) and go and empty it in the campground toilets. I carry a collapsible water jug (easy to store in the bathtub) to refill my fresh water tank. It may sound like a lot of work, but so is uprooting your whole campsite to empty your tanks at the dump station and refill your water. Trust me, the fresh water won't last long with this trailer. Not using my shower/tub, I put a board over 1/2 the tub and added a mini fridge. Great to have the extra fridge space! Great for an ice cold cooler or beer! 😝 The rest of the tub is for storage. I also put that rubbery mesh drawer liner under the fridge to keep it in place on the board. That way the they don't slide around while traveling. I might add some two-way sticky tape just to assist the board resting on the edges of the tub. I've traveled two summers on multiple trips without any problems. I also put a tension rod over the length of the tub. I use it to hang my clothes over the tub. Where the mini fridge is, I hang my shorter items. The longer clothes over the open, storage space. The tub storage is mainly under the board holding the mini fridge. The other half is for whatever you want. WORKS WONDERFULLY! The cupboards over the bed/table will hold the single free standing plastic drawer units made by Rubbermaid and others. When I open the cupboard doors, I can then pull open the drawers with ease and access what I need without digging around in a dark cupboard. There is a bit of a lip on the cupboard so the drawers won't open while traveling. The door stays shut. Very easy to lift drawer system slightly to pull the drawer open. I do this standing on the bed as I am short. Great for controlling my items. I even put two drawers on both the ends inside the cupboard for easier access plus control any items I want inside the cupboard. I only put the items I use once in awhile in those drawers. I must remove the ones at the cupboard doors to access the ones inside. It doesn't bother me as I don't need to do it often but still have the items available when I need them. My items stay nice and clean being in the drawers. All trailers take on dust while traveling. I have an open wall space between the over the-bed-cupboards and the over-the-couch cupboards. I use 4 small tension rods between the two cupboards and added two shelves for more storage. Great for whatever your heart desires! I use it for my magazines, books, crochet bag etc. Don't forget to check out "RV Hacks"! Lots of great ideas! #1. Buy small diameter "pool noodles". Slice them down one side, length wise. Be careful not to slice through the whole noodle. With the slice facing your awning arm, gently open it to place it on the arm. It should sort of "lock on". If put on properly, they will not blow off if it gets windy. It will hurt less when you bump into the arm with your head. 🤕 Trust me, you will and more than once. 🥴 You must put them on both sides of each arm. I also put a short piece on the lower part of the arm right by the door. It bumped my hip once and that was one too many times! You will only need it on the inside of the arm right by the door. I LOVE MY TRAILER!!! I am sooooo looking forward to camping this summer!!! Enjoy!!! 🇨🇦 🌞🔥🌞🔥🌞🔥🇨🇦

My 2015 unit is set up exactly the same. Love the extra ground clearance. The storage in this thing is awesome. The cupboard above the dinette is much bigger than it looks. Tows like a dream. Surprising counter space for such a small trailer. Nice big bath area for such a small trailer. I love everything about it but the table. It's heavy, freestanding: you shouldn't leave it up while traveling because it will bounce around and ultimately fall over. A nuisance to put up and take down. Currently I just leave it down for a bed. But that's the only downside I have about this trailer. On the plus side, you could if you wanted, take the table outside and set it up.
@coltenmaloneoutdoors10314 жыл бұрын
Yeah i have only had my table up for this video. Haven’t used it since haha.
@roxannegordon61622 жыл бұрын
why would your table bounce around during travel? Fall over??? OMG ! Don't you have the straps hooked up? We have never had such a problem in our Winnebago Mini.
@Michaelw777.522 жыл бұрын
@@roxannegordon6162 *Thanks for the question* ! It's free standing. There are no straps, and I see no way to secure it. No indication on the floor, dinette benches, or trailer front to secure it to anything. It's _not_ your standard dinette booth table. It's also quite heavy and very ungainly to put up and take down in the space we have. But I will double check in a few days: I could have missed something. It's possible it came with something that wasn't there when I bought it, although it was remarkably complete, including all the booklets that came with the trailer new. It even came with trailer tire covers and a trailer cover. I'll also check on the Jayco site to see if there's something. It did and does seem an oversight on Jayco's part. But it is a very heavy table for such a small trailer. Easier, as the OP said, to leave it in bed mode. I would rather leave it in bed mode anyway, rather than set the bed up and take it down each day. I have a lightweight folding table, much easier to set up for when I need a table for any length of time. But thanks again for your question. I could have missed something. I will double check.

I have a Baja 2020 145 also. However, mine has the 13,500 AC on the roof, does not have a cover for the front window, the inside colors are darker and the faucet is different. I put an EZ start on the AC so that I can run my AC on a Westinghouse 2500 generator. I also put two 100 watt solar panels on the roof. I tow the trailer with a 2019 Jeep Cherokee. I get between 12-15(ish) miles to the gallon when towing, vs 18-20(ish) not towing. The only problem was some leaking from the sink and from a hot water line under the bathtub. The trailer came with a two year warranty. They fixed these issues at the dealer.
@soccermomshella3 жыл бұрын
Hi Richard, which engine are you pulling with on your Jeep Cherokee? How is it towing? I also have a 145RB not the baja and towing with a Jeep Cherokee 4X4 with the 3.2. Are you using a weight distribution hitch? if so which one?
@minirunt3 жыл бұрын
@@soccermomshella I have the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk V-6 3.2 with the tow package installed. I used the CAMCO recurver R3 weight distribution and tow hitch. When I bought the trailer they included and installed this hitch. The tow package allowed me to install (plug and play) the electric brake controller. Towing is a mix of good and bad. I have no sway or level issues. Not sure if it makes any difference as I have never towed this trailer without. The trailer pulls well when towing under 60mph. The problem is when I start reaching speeds above 70 mph. At those higher speeds the trailer quickly slows the trailer. Kind of like pulling a parachute. Livable, just a nuisance as your RPMs keep going up and down every 30 seconds as you try to keep the trailer at speed. I do not notice this at speeds 60-65 mph or less. I get about 12-16 mpg. Of course I travel frequently in Nevada and Utah where you have 1000 foot aat the bottom of valley and up to 10,000 feet as you go over mountains. I normally get 18-21mpg on the highway.
@soccermomshella3 жыл бұрын
@@minirunt Thanks for the reply, I have not been using a WDH just the sway bar. Sometimes I feel that "parachute" so I am glad it is not my imagination. I also have a 2000 Tahoe I am going to pull it with to compare.

I own the 2012 of this exact TT. To maximize space I use IKEA kitchen items extensively. The support rod is needed and can be mounted under the cupboards. Holds my dish rack and loads of other items. Everyone who sees it comments on how much bigger it seems with use of clever IKEA products, plus it looks much more like a tiny house instead of a camper. I put a real mattress in mine since I travel extensively with it and prefer a real bed. 3M Command products are great too - hint: use the Command Bath Strips whenever possible everywhere in it since they hold up better vs. typical Command strips. I love my 145RB, but hate how poorly insulated it is. I should expect that for entry level, but even with the AC it’s dreadfully humid in there so I run a 20 pint dehumidifier. I shouldn’t have to, but hate the “wet” feeling my linens have if I don’t use it. As much as I love it, I’ll probably be buying the 195RB in the next year or so now that I’m retired. I want bigger holding tanks and a bed that’s easier to make. But this was a great TT to start with.
