Thanks for watching the set tour! We are so excited for this movie. One of the main questions we are getting is "how long will the movie be?" The answer, it'll be around 1 hour, hopefully we can hit the 60 min mark and it'll be a feature film, not a short film

29 year old fan here. This behind the scenes was a great watch! I'm very surprised at how ambitious this movie is. Comedy and mystery are especially difficult genres to write. Sci Fi is an especially time consuming thing to create visually too. You chose not to take the easy way out at all; big props to the whole team! Strangely, this tour video had a Christmas-like energy to it. Like those houses that spend months decking out for Christmas, you had to use your creativity to make an immersive world out of what you have on hand and a limited budget. It really adds to the charm! I don't expect sci fi stuff to look totally real, because the fun of watching sci fi is seeing the creativity of how people manifested their vision. Knowing that the film is gonna mostly be made by the family-like crew I've watched for years is awesome. I'm gonna have a blast watching it, regardless of what reception it gets on IMDB etc.

Heads up for the lengthy message. First I’m very grateful for the post to the podcast channel because it’s been a while. And secondly I cant wait for this film. Every bit of content you produce is virtually a small movie in its own right but to see you shine in creating your own film film is awesome. Honestly I’m so impressed with where you guys keep progessing to. Shoutout to the build team they are continually amazing at all they do and for months have been creating such unique builds and then to make a full movie set and have it so detailed is just beyond impressive. Thank you Jstu for being you! The best channel always bringing laughs daily. All the best and keep up what you do it’s very appreciated !

The set reminds me a lot of the original series Star Trek set. It uses a lot of practical props and decorations, it's pretty cool

Would be cool if you had a model of the ship so you could film some exterior fly by shots, like how sci fi space shots used to be filmed. A little editing could make some really cool visuals of the ship in space for just a few seconds here and there.

Wow, so long, it looks great. What a job you have done and you and your construction team built and fought to finish it soon you will be there. So be proud of the fine work you as a team have done. Because when it's finished and the film is produced, see the whole of the work you've done, it will be super good. I am eagerly waiting for the movie to release. Will be excited to see it. You guys should reach out to a fellow youtuber and sci-fi fanatic that goes by the handle "The Smugglers Room", He's spent four years working on turning his basement into a star was themed area, and I think he could really help on some finalizing details for whatever bits still need to be finished. It’s kinda funny because I have been watching you guys since the toilet paper fort and vlogs days my older brother and I would watch ur videos on our iPad that we snuck into bed. I have followed you guys ever since and my favorite movies are home alone 1 and 2 as well as Mall Cop so I feel like I know you guys super well and know the jokes. I’m 16 now and this is my moms account so no, I’m not a 50 yo woman, but yeah love the channel and have hoped to see you guys face to face some time. Problem is, I live in Des Moines, Iowa. A place like Maumee Indoor Theater in Ohio is the type of place that might be ideal for a touring site. I'm fairly certain the city owns the theater and they open the theater to a variety of venues.

As a 63yo male ive still got abit of kid in me so the forts are cool we did alot of that but not in walmart or any store, abit disrespectful in my eyes but i was raised in the 60-70's as a kid, we were taught different back then,,but love the whole town or state wide hide n seek, u boys always callin yourself survivors id like to see u guys go take a real survival course and then put what u learned to good use,,, 'alone' and have an instructor or samuel/blake pick a winner

Epic! You should consider renting the set out to other KZfaqrs that may want to film their own short film in it. You could recoup a chunk of your costs. $10K or something to use a set that is already complete would be a great deal for them, and mutually beneficial for JSTU.

You guys should come to Appleton, Oshkosh, or Greenbay Wisconsin! There’s always lots of traffic from everywhere that comes through so it’s a great spot for people to drive to!
