Thank U for taking us for a tour of your homestead. it's beautiful and I enjoyed it so much. The land you live on is so peaceful you don't really need the music in the background. It can be a little distracting. Looking forward to more videos.

Hi we are new subs here 🤗 Great tour of your homestead. We are in southeast Michigan. We moved from the city to the country 16 yrs ago and will never go back lol. We are semi homesteaders and semi off grid as well. I guess we are just living our own way lol. Looking forward to your updates and future videos. Take care-Debbie

Hi! You have a wonderful looking place! I'm just now getting ready to buy a place. I wish I had started at your age instead of mine! lol. I noticed that you had a pile of wood chip compost piled against the side of your building. That's been known to cause rot and rust. Thought you might like to know. I never understood why people would want to live in the North. It gets SO COLD! It is beautiful however.

yescandles I know. Me either. It's funny I live in the tropics. I do not like it getting below 60. It's freezing to me. My daughter graduated and moved to the north where they see lots of snow all the time too. Love her property. I'd like to visit her in the summer time

what part of Michigan are you in? Do you have a decent growing season?

We are the western/central part of the LP. Zone 5b. Last frost is usually June 1st and first frost is late September! It’s not very long but long enough - I’m ready for a break by the end! 😂
