Shaun, Julie and I head to the 1st Manitoba Pinball Championships as well as many others from Ontario, BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan! It was a great event packed with 4 pinball tournaments! Come along for the ride!

MB Ian here - thanks for coming out to participate & for making this little recap! it was cool to face some new competition from out of town, and folks were definitely coming out to play hard. those two (yes, two) blackouts were pretty wild to work through! gonna be interesting to talk about for a while.

Ahh cool I was wondering what happened! Drew (the owner of the place and probably the machine was the one who did it) it was back in the tournament after not too long!

Thanks for the video Mike. Sorry you got beat out. But in 5th place is still great man! Just wondering for whoever broke the glass on T2. Do they have to pay to replace it and I bet that is automatic disqualification from the Tournament? Glad you made it home safely too. Take care!

that was due to the TO & game owner himself! he took the glass off half-way while trying to fix a broken cannon, and I can only assume that he accidentally put his weight on the exposed half of the glass. unfortunate accident, no foul play, and the game was back in the pump-n-dump within a few hours after a thorough shop-vac session. (the cannon ended up being broken because of a burnt-out flasher fuse (?!))

@@coten ahh, okay. Yeah that is unfortunate. Bet it made a nice pop and scared a few folks. When I was a teenager and worked in a bowling alley. We had two pinball machines (different times of course), get replaced out because of drunk customers taking it out on the game and slam their fists down. Thanks for the reply. Take care!
