Here is a nice tour of of one of America's largest and most exciting restaurants. Casa Bonita was built in 1973 in Denver, Colorado. Incredibly this restaurant was built using no blueprints! It was themed similar to a Acapulco town in Mexico. It may be a restaurant but you can spend several hours there. Food is a mix between Mexican and American and is reasonably priced. There is no charge for admission but you must purchase a meal to enter. For more information visit website here www.casabonitadenver.com (website might be down due to covid closure). I tried to describe Casa Bonita to my grandchildren, but it's impossible! Thanks for this video. Casa Bonita is worth the trip from anywhere.

It's like somebody tried to merge elements of the Epcot Mexico pavilion with the Mai Kai in Fort Lauderdale and then decided to run it like a Chuck E. Cheeze.

the creatos Trey Parker and Matt Stone now OWN Casa Bonita!!! I live pretty close to Denver so I can't wait to go and possibly meet them!!!!!!!

To piggy back off of Bernie here, they now own it and are doing o BB er 12 million dollars in renovations. I've had several birthdays there growing up and the atmosphere and attractions were always fun and exciting but the food was GARBAGE. Now they're hiring top end chefs and rebuilding the kitchen from the ground up. Next time I'm back in CO I look forward to revisiting a slice of my childhood, now new and improved.

I remember when they first opened.we were there.on opening day.kept comning back.love the place.the divers.the entertainment.food.the caves.my kids liked it to.they were little at the time.glad it's still going.thanks for the wonderful memories.🤗❤👍

Sopillas! Cliff divers! Bart's Cave! The puppet shows! A new MENU with REAL FOOD! Oh My! We are BEYOND excited about the reopening! We would wait outside, in the snow and cold for hours just to get in! It was worth the wait! Thank you Matt and Trey for taking on this monumental undertaking. It will be worth it!

Man this place is so 80s, since the 90s everything is going minimalistic, plain, one color, extremely practical etc. Not Casa Bonita, it's bulky, it's rugged, it's colorful, it's eclectic, it's not well lighted, it's "echoey", it's imperfect, etc. It reminds me of Show Biz Pizza Fiesta. As an 80s kid I kind of miss that 80s aesthetic and vibe, maybe because I was a kid and it's imprinted in me, but still it feels like something was lost. I'm glad today's kids can experience it if at least in one place.

Looks like a fun place, I can understand you can spend several hours there, so much to see. You didn't eat some good Mexican food. Test your love was great.

I hope they don't change a lot in the reopen. I remember going here in my early 20s and my mom leaning over the railing trying to catch a diver in her purse LOL. Another time I took my daughter. We had fun. Hopefully, I'll have the opportunity to see the revamp.

I have seen some recent photos. The upstairs video game arcade has been replaced with a massive bathroom. It looks mostly the same but more modern and less cluttered. I think we will be happy with it.

I know its been on south park but SLC used to have a restaurant like this called the mayan I think.

Yeah the Mayan Adventure was a fun counterpart for SLC and they also featured cliff divers inside. But, the interior felt smaller and less open than Casa Bonita and didn't have as many variations of themes in seating areas. But, I do miss the Mayan (they closed in 2011 I think).

Casa Bonita is not located in Denver. It is located in Lakewood. Very big difference.

Was this filmed with a gopro or something...... you need. Good low light camera and a f1.8 or 1.4 lense. Just a better lense would have helped.

My god.. everything is plastic.... As a South Texan raised alongside Mexican culture, and finding the best Mexican food in the places that didn't even have a sign, I am horrified.
