Hello everyone, welcome to my channel. Like so many others, my lifestyle changed due to the pandemic.
Before the pandemic, my families lives had become so hectic & busy that there never seemed to be a good time to travel anymore. Somewhere along the line we realized that our last vacation was in 2011. We decided that it was time we made some travel plans.
Then the pandemic hit! I no longer wanted to travel by plane or stay in a hotel. We decided that a bettter and safer alternative would be to travel in our own vehicle, one that we could also sleep in, cook our own meals in, vacation in. The rest is history!
However, the RV shopping process is not easy and required a lot of research. I want to share what I have learned along with my ongoing experiences and adventures through my channel which offers:
RV tours / walkthroughs
Camping destinations
Hiking
RV modifications & DIYs
RV Cooking
And much more…..
So I invite you to come along with me on this ongoing RV journey.

Having a family of four (two young kids) this is the RV we're working towards owning. They're very hard to find in Canada. Thanks for the walkthrough.

I owned the 2021 Tellaro (which is Thor's sister RV) and found it worked great for 2 people. The price was great and I put over 11K miles on it while I owned it. The pop-top on this one definitely provides that extra sleeping area that most kids should enjoy. Thanks for Watching!

There is a lot to like here, the light colors and the gloss and the pop-up but I wish the bathroom was in the back so it is open interior and has the option of opening the rear doors. Manufacturers won't put a pop up on a van with the bathroom in the back because they think the A/C can't be above the bathroom but they are wrong, they just need to add ducts then it will be the quietest van to sleep in ever. Also you are getting better with your reviews holding the conversation, paying attention to detail, and showing charm.

I agree, I find that rear bathrooms allow for more bathroom space. The interior quality was good as well. Thanks for Watching!

Kind over priced for such a small RV and as far as the pop-up top bed goes, are you not supposed to sleep with your feet at the lowest point but showed it in reverse, that way your legs were on show? That generator is far too lowly placed for British roads but then you are in America with wider transitions so I suppose it could be okay. Toilet and shower area, far too small for a big guy like me to fit into - so its okay but I'd shower outdoors in a shower tent.

Ruby. You have owned two Thor products. Would you say their build quality needs more work? I’m in the market to get a Class B. Thor definitely has competitive pricing for what you get.

Hello Angel, Yes I would say Thor needs to improve their quality but I have noticed issues with a couple other manufacturers as well. I have had a few issues but I have been able to correct them myself. I agree that they have competitive prices but you need to conduct a thorough PDI before committing to pay to ensure there are no major issues. Thanks for Watching!

I just bought the model you showed. Previous to that I had a larger Gemini and prior to that a Roadtrek Zion. I MISSED the ability to have that open space in the back to move furniture and such. I also have a need, from time to time to move, long pieces of lumber. I LOVED my Gemini....BUT...It was very difficult to move either, like I could with my Zion. I'll miss having more space, like I had in my Gemini...but...the ability to use that back bed area for other things far outweighs the loss. Oh..and one more thing...PLEASE wear a mask over your beautiful eyes on future videos. I keep concentrating of them and not paying attention to your presentation.

When showing the pop top and mentioning low headroom, isn’t that where your feet go in a pop top such as this? Thanks for thorough overview!

The headspace is low everywhere in the pop top, it really is not for adults. Thanks for watching!

@@Adventure-Mom I agree with SI: It looks like enough headroom if you were lying in the other direction - head towards the front..

Why is the van so low, it does not seem like there is enough clearance from the ground. the generator will be scraped once it hits a bump. Thor has good floorplans but falls short when it comes to the bottom of the van.it needs to be raised at least 6 inches to get some clearance.

I think the grass makes it seem lower than it really is. I actually owned a Thor Tellaro (same platform and layout) and I never had an issue with it hitting the ground. Thanks for Watching!

Not much Changes from the previous Model. I prefer the Newer Thor Class B on the Mercedes Chassis though , However Thor Have Utilize same interior low end cabinetry on New Sanctuary 2022, Increased and raised the price. Good Layout but could use better materials for the price.

I owned a 2021 Thor Tellaro with the same cabinetry and I like it. The cabinets could have used some type of locking mechanism for added security but I never had any issues with them opening and never had any quality issues. As for the 2022 Sanctuary, at $114K, I find the price to be reasonable for the platform it is on. Thanks for Watching!

True on Thor "quality" (and they own Airstream -- scary!). :-( However, NO SPRINTER-based Class Bs for me though... As for Thors in general, while I like some of the Thor Class B floor-plans (like the 18M), I'd never buy anything made by Thor due to quality issues (poor Fit & Finish and cheap build and fastener materials). Same for the newer Jayco "off road" Bs, which seem to be challenging Winnebago's "Revel" -- which has bad ZERO competition for too long now! And nothing the huge RV conglomerate Forest River (probably the MAIN crap-maker in the business?) makes either, EXCEPT for their class B Coachmen (but they're too large/long). Panoramic (a French Canadian RV brand) seems to be well-made, and are on a ProMaster chassis vs. Sprinter -- AND gas (don't want anything diesel) -- but it's a bit too large (long) for me. On top of that, ALL the "full-service/full-amenities" Class Bs are insanely expensive (as per usual, yes, I know) be they "street ones" or "off-road" ones as well: They're more money than I'd want to pay even though still "affordable" (using that word loosely). Consequently, I'd be looking for something more like an "old-school" campervan -- a shorter Class B even if it's not a "full service"/full amenities" Class B -- something like a Pleasure-Way Tofino. Since it'd be my Daily Driver as well, I think something like a "minimal B" would do said daily driving well enough, and the occasional long weekend camping trips, too. I'd usually be spending nights in hotels on long road-trips so the Tofino would make a more comfortable road-trip vehicle (can't sleep in my current Daily Driver), but if I DID need to stay in a Rest Area or such overnight for some sleep -- if I needed to drive straight-through for some reason with no hotel stays -- I could do that also: Would carry a portable/cassette toilet with me for any "emergencies" but really, in all my life NONE of my "Daily Drivers" -- AND long road-trip vehicles -- have ever had bathrooms in them so that's no big deal. ;-) For me then, a campervan makes more sense...and one featured and priced (with superior build/materials quality and probably one of the best warranties in the RV industry) like a Tofino is more realistic/practical, yet it still has a decent cost-to-value ratio even though it's not a "full-service/full-amenities" B as we usually think of them. Happy Travels...however you do them! :-) -- BR

It really depends on your location but if you are in SW FL contact "Big John" at Fort Myers LaMesa RV. In Orlando, you should contact "Irish" aka Cathy at the Stanford LaMesa RV location. Make sure you tell then I sent you. Thank You for Watching!
