Thanks for pointing at the tail light while you talk about the tail light. No way in hell I would have ever known where the tail light was without your finger pointing it out.

First Skyscraper X5 I've seen. Nice alt to the all too common Brooklyn and I bet much easier to keep clean that Dravit.

I respect that how just like you I agree that a lower grade model shouldn’t deserve an M badge- along with all other models below the competition. In my opinion, there is only one. It’s the top of the line. Not just “almost” top of the line… respectfully

not many dealers are going to load them up like that. It'd be rare to find Bowers & Wilkins on an M60i and Adaptive M Suspension Pro. A customer order...maybe

Yay! Everyone gets an M 😐I was waiting for the day that M would get watered down sooooo much. I have progressed to saying it’s a competition rather than M car. At least we have that 😅

It’s a car model posing to be a true M Competition. In my opinion, based on BMW gradually adding M performance bits on these car models. Now there are little visual differences on the M performance cars and the competitions. But overall they are completely different through and through. That’s why they are more expensive. It’s just a little disappointing when I see an M850i with stripped badges, added M mirrors, an M8 badge on the aftermarket grill and an exhaust. While I’m driving in a 2024 individual M8 Comp GC with individual paint. I understand why consumers do it. They want to appear like they have a competition and spent the money for it… or didn’t want to wait for the build. I never thought BMW would do it to the stock cars. But it’s about selling cars so no worries.

@@hollywoodstarfish I get that it’s ridiculous for a base X5 to have any M badges, but my M60i has the S68 engine. It deserves M badges.

@@hollywoodstarfish I actually like the M60i better. You have to realize not everybody needs to compensate like you do. The M60i is a better daily driver than the Comp, and you'll not drive the Comp anywhere near it's potential on public roads, at least not without a stack of citations. The M60i is the perfect blend of performance and drivability.
