Dear Rachel! Wishing your beautiful Mother Diane a woman Happy Birthday in heaven in the presence of Jesus her Savior. I know the terrible pain and grief of losing a Mother. I lost my Mom the day before Mothers Day in 2003 to cancer. I held her in my arms she took her last breath. Its going to be 21 years May 10th. Though it gets excess time moves on, you never get over the loss. Thanks for this very informative video. I really learned much. I hope you continue to do these kinds of videos more often. Antique dolls to me are the most beautiful dolls ever .

I enjoy seeing and learning about antique dolls, even though I will probably never own one. I think a large part of the charm of a collectible item is not just the physical object, but the stories that go with it. So, it is great to see that Diane has passed a lot of those stories on to Rachel and inspired her to learn more for herself. We don’t all connect with our parents that way, but it is lovely if it happens.

I have a feeling our mothers would have got along well together...my mother loved Christmas, but she adored Easter, and both were huge holidays in our home when I was young and growing up. My mother also loved decorating and any reason to celebrate and great work went into the decorating, preparations, the food, and so on. She also loved dolls and miniatures, like your mom. The case is beautiful and a great tribute to your mother.

I've always loved antique dolls, even when i was 6 when i asked my Mum for a French doll. She was way out of our price range so she got me a new porcelain doll and I fell in love with her. Thankyou for sharing these beauties. It's a dream of mine to have some eventually. The ohoto of you and Holland Dianne next to each other are nearly almost identical. Thank you for sharing the antique dolls. I know the bread and butter of the shop is new dolls, but I love the antique dolls and learning about them. I collect quality artist reproduction French and high end German mostly because that is what I enjoy. I do have some antique German also. My mother's birthday was April 3, and she also liked Easter because it signaled spring time. She has been gone almost 16 years now But would be 109 this week. Thanks for all your videos, as I enjoy watching all of them.

My favorite antique Dolls of your Mom's are: Taffy your Francois Gaultier with her beautiful white dress and cute hat❤❤❤Mystery DEP German Doll with her beautiful red hair, red bow, white dress, and beautiful eyes❤❤❤, Crying 7844 Heubach Doll that really looked like Holland Diane had a twin brother when she was an infant❤❤❤❤❤, Portrait Jumeau Doll with her black dress and acorn buttons🌰❤❤❤❤, adorable Shirley Temple Doll in her pink dress💖💖💖💖💖💖, and the Tete Jumeau SFJJ 301 Paris Doll with her gorgeous thick eyelashes, blue dress with lace trim, and cute hat💙💙💙💙💙!!! And I so LOVE that music box with the Provincial Children Dancing and it looks like a town in Germany in the background. And that is such a sweet antique Book on Birthdays❤❤❤❤❤!!! It's definitely already spring in southern utah. lol, my allergies have made that clear. We are getting ready to head north. Hopefully, the weather allows us to leave tomorrow. It's been very wet and rainy, and the dirt/sand/clay road we have to take is far too slick.
