On this day trip from Seoul, I take a solo tour to Nami Island!
Nami Island (or Naminara Republic) is an inland island about 3 hours from Seoul, South Korea. The guided tour starts early at 7am & takes an hour to reach the first stop: the Garden of Morning Calm.
Korea has breathtaking nature, nestled between the mountains I explored the vibrant gardens with crisp winds against my skin. A peaceful escape from the bustling city of Seoul.
We continued onwards to Gangwon Province and the famous Nami Island. First, we devoured some authentic dakgalbi (Korean spicy chicken stir fry), then boarded the Nami Island ferry. It’s a super short trip to Namiseom Island where I spent a few hours exploring the fantastic nature, wildlife, K-Drama relics (Winter Sonata), & even some pretty freaky statues…
On the way back to Seoul we stopped at Petite France & Little Italy, nothing special but still a nice touch to the tour. It was a long day so come prepared with jackets, power banks, water & snacks. I’d definitely recommend this day trip from Seoul to tour Nami Island. Check it out:
