But when I see what you're dealing with and how you're still succeeding in life, it gives me hope. I have seizures a lot, for 12 years now (we're about the same age). I never really looked into this before. Youre very inspiring! I tend to meow, over and over and over again. Or make movements that I can't control. To be honest I've always thought it was just my seizures and the medication side effects (perhaps it is) but I'm going to bring this up to my neurologist. Thank your mom for me for sharing her insight, i'm greatful that I have my mom by my side too. I can't live alone. Youre amazing, xoxo

I stumbled on your videos quite a while ago and have been following from "afar" periodically checking in to watch and I just have to say that your candor and reality that you expose is simply amazing. It makes me wonder how in the hell anyone ever thought people with conditions like this were ever worthy of stigmatization! Though exhausting and OBVIOUSLY awful to experience from both your perspective and your mums, I can't see how I could ever think someone with tourette's as anything but worth of love and also respect for their strength.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with me. I have watched yours and several other videos from people suffering from this syndrome. I now realize that there are a lot more people and families, who are dealing with this than I had previously assumed. I appreciate the efforts made to shine a light on this syndrome and bringing an awareness of how a person dealing with the conditions, goes through along with the parents. How you handle it as the person and how the parents are able to cope with getting you through the episodes of your conditions. Every parent, I would think, wants to help their children through any and all crisis they may face in their life. To prevent or limit the hurt, harm or fears they may face, preparing them to go out and live life on their own, one day. Ultimately, in my mind, we all are looking out for the safety and welfare of our children in their future. I hope that you may soon find some relief to lessen the more harmful of the conditions, making your life more manageable and you happier. Your mother seems absolutely wonderful. Best wishes.

I work with people with disabilities and parents often aren't part of the picture or are pretty removed. it can be hard at times, but seeing people like your mom who are doing the best they can with the cards they have been dealt is truly amazing and reassuring! nothing but love for both of you and your whole family!!

This is such a wholesome family, I absolutely love it this is such a beautiful family and community.

I'm 25 and my 3 year old has epilepsy and autism. He's also mainly non verbal. Sometimes it gets really hard for me but I don't ever show how lost I feel and actually guilty even though ik I couldn't have done anything to change it. He's had 17 seizures in such a pinical time in his brain development but as of now he's 10 months without a seizure and I am so grateful for it. I'm still worried about it but I can't help but be happy and just focus on his SIB behavior and his autism and understanding his ticks. He has sensory displacement as well. Which is an entire other world

Very recently I had an episode, where my legs was stiffing up during a walk, which I believe was due to my epilepsy, not sure though. But I had a co-resident with me that day, which offered me a shoulder in case I fell over - luckily it never happened 😊👍 Once we were back home, my co-resident told the staff what he observed, and later that day, I texted my parents , to let them know what was going on
