I toured the town of Black River in St Elizabeth and took a visit to Logwood Cemetery as well. Fascinating!

Thanks for another great video Nigel, I think in future development of cemeteries they should make them as organized and uniform as Dovecot and Medowrest, those are well maintained ❤ thanks for your hard work in bringing us these videos ✅️

Safari is a Swahili word for "journey". Swahili is a national language for East African countries; Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi. It's spoken far beyond those countries like DR Congo, Mozambique and Malawi. Safari is a word commonly used by tour companies to mean "tours" since to tour is to "travel" or "have the journey". Here, "Black River Safaris" mean "Black River Tours". I love your work bro. Much love from Kenya🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪

Thank you for the tour of Black river. I did this in 2016 with FGSJ,born in St.Bess and had no knowledge of the black river history this was an eye opener and historical journey, the tour of the beautiful St.Johns church and tour of the grounds including the tomb Stones was an education for me. Topping off this tour was the local school teacher of Hampton Girls school who not only sang beautiful for us but played the Organ, visiting the zong memorial and the Swaby crocodile farm as well as the historical places was a delightful experience . Glad you highlited the cemetery as this is where our history lies. Ps..formelly from Ballards Valley.

You know what I would want you to do?? Since you're border to Westmoreland can you visit my idol grave, The great Peter Tosh? Seen on a 1987 clip of his grave during the burial but never get to see a close up look on where he was buried. That would be a massive video. I think his mother was also buried close by him and i believe a monument is there for Peter.

I think you should go to the Chinese Cemetery on Waltham Park Rd. I went to a funeral there & thought it was the most beautiful/ well-kept Cemetery in Jamaica. I don't know if it's still looks the same.
