During our road trip with the 1969 Buick Wildcat, we made our destination the Jack Daniel's distillery in Lynchburg, TN! This was packed full of history and awesome facts that folks of all ages are able to enjoy. There's so much to make in on these tours, that you can't hardly get the full experience through this video! Take the opportunity to visit the distillery yourself!

That's cool. Take a trip a bit further north to Bowling Green, KY and do a tour of the National Corvette Museum.

As a "local," I have toured JD many times. I can remember when the tour was free, but you couldn't get so much as a sip anywhere in the county and the commemorative bottles sold in the gift shop were empty. Things have changed since then.

Seen the sign for the distillery many times headed up 65 to Nashville, but never been there.

That is cool. I've been to several distilleries in Kentucky but didn't get quite an extensive tour at any of them. At least, I don't remember them being that extensive. I sampled at each one but did not drive. It was fun.

Did anyone ask , how far it was to the nearest liquor store , because they are in a dry county ? When I was there in 1984 the guide knew it to the step . You did not get to see one of the mellowing barrels full of Charcoal with the proof gauge ? They lifted the cover , and wooo boy could you smell it , and it smelled ... Good ...

I did. They didn’t allow cell phones inside in case of a spark.

Aah, cool cool.... but i have to say. Give me a bottle of scottish ilay whiskey of any kind, and I'll enjoy each drop to death. Give me a bottle of Jack, and I'll pass that thing along to someone who can bear it 😅
