Touring Lake Oswego on a Boat - Moving to Lake Oswego!

2 жыл бұрынJoin me this week for a boat tour of Lake Oswego (yes the ACTUAL Lake!). I will be providing an overview of the geography, uses, characteristics and of course the real estate.
Located about 8 miles south of Portland, the 431 acre private Oswego Lake is the center piece for the town that surrounds it. It is home to just over 690 water front properties that are considered to be some of the most desirable properties in the Portland Metro area.
The lake itself is about 3 miles long and is fed by the Tualatin River. It is privately managed by the Lake Oswego Lake Corporation and open year round with the exception of when it's drained once every 2 years.

I live in Lake Oswego, have a nice boat, but no easement for access. Very depressing for me every time I drive by on a beautiful day and see literally NOBODY out enjoying the lake on their boat...

Yes that’s very true! I often notice the same thing. And then there are days like the Fourth of July where literally everyone uses their boat

@@MatthewTercek The Lake Corp. should use their boat ramp for a limited number of reservation-only day use permits. The access fee they could charge would raise lots of money, and only people who have had their identity verified and proof of insurance and boater licensing would be allowed on the lake. There's certainly room for that.
