I was just in Jamaica last month and saw this building. It was so beautiful at night with the lights that we actually asked the driver what building it was. Glad to get more details about it. I have only driven through Portmore but I was impressed with th amount of development.

Thanks for the video.. Wow that Mall looks unique, especially at nights. Seem like the design is based on a Chinese concept called Feng Shieu pronounced fung shway. The building is simple with a minimalist uncluttered design.

In my opinion this is the fanciest looking mall in Jamaica, compared to all the malls/plazas that have recently been built in Jamaica. Here's to hoping this is the template/status quo of other future developments across the country.

I think if someone wants to know how working class Jamaicans truly lives they should visit Portmore. It is modern with all amenities like the suburbs in America. I ❤ Portmore.

I think so tbh, I went there in April and I thought it was really developed was curious why we didn’t stay there instead of ochi.. Also the turquoise water in hellshire heights is everything would definitely but a piece of land in hellshire heights..

@@876dfuture Ochi has more restaurants and activites but everything is more expensive there because it's a tourist trap. Portmore close after hours. You should have someone take you up in the hills of Kingston and St Andrew., places like Queen Hill, Beverly Hills, Jacks Hill, Norbrook. These are just a few places. That's where wealthy Jamaicans live. Try and book an Airbnb with a balcony in the hills over looking Kingston. It's the most beautiful sight at night to see standing on a balcony when kingston is lit. No You Tuber as every vlog that night scene. It's just breath taking.

There is a new shopping centre being built in Montego Bay next to the beach. It isn’t as big as this one but it looks really nice.

It's at sea level so you won't find a lot of trees growing there. The soil is salty.

Adassa: It is not every mall in us are Maga with all the amenities you talking about, some malls are very old small don't have a lot of amenities. It's depend on where you're. Yes they're grand and beautiful malls in usa . But you probably only see the best area and malls in us , but trust me they're depressing area and malls and some even closing. Also America is more developed than jamaica , we are growing please showers your blessings on .

This mall is hideous.lol. It also has too many lots and not enough parking. The developers dropped the ball in not making this underground parking and putting more outside views with the view they have. They also have one entrance for cars and pedestrians. Traffic central if this mall ever full up of businesses

Please be careful where you are. If you are in the states you can get shot going to schools or your children can . If you are black you can get kiiled just standing, talking, sleeping while black. How do u determine what is a mall and what is a plaza. It's the size and how the stores are situated. That is a MALL. Don't compair a developed country to a developing one. Prices cant be the same either

It is literally called "Hung Way Shopping Mall", not sure what you are on about. Plus there are different kinds of malls, this one is more vertical in design. Not everything needs to be compared to the US

We do not need malls the of those in bigger countries. The Delpratts have been to bigger countries and seen malls. USA is no utopia,too frighten and exposed too late.
