The safari guide told Britton Hayes not to move a muscle, so he sat frozen with fear as the cheetah checked things out. It got even worse when another cheetah joined the party. All Hayes could do was hope for the best and pray he was not on the dinner menu. #InsideEdition

Cheetahs don't typically attack adults. They're the least dangerous wild cat to encounter. They can kill you but usually don't. Cheetahs in captivity purr and meow like housecats.

Oh it definitely could have.....He did the right thing by freezing. If he would have turned around I guarantee it would have gotten aggressive. It might look cute but all it had to do was reach out with his claws at his neck or latch onto his head and do a lot of damage.

Cheetahs aren't even a big cat. They're normally skittish, and I've never heard of one attacking a person. So, if you have a large feline in your backseat, this is probably the best one. I think the guide was probably scared of spooking the cheetah than whether it was dangerous. But, yeah, respect all wildlife.

Thankfully cheetahs really aren’t all that aggressive. And they rarely attack (and even try to befriend) anything bigger than them. They’re most likely two very young males who wanna check out the large group of people.
