TOUSLED HAIR | MY EXPERIENCE WITH L'ange Le Duo | DO I LIKE IT????

I have certainly talked a lot about my gray hair it all it's glory. I have a strange combination of texture, fine, straight, curly, and most certainly best of all gray. My problem is that it's crazy hair because it is all of the above and not consistently one way or the other. Won't dry perfectly straight or perfectly curly. Will grow outward more than it grows downward. Does that make sense? I wear it in a variety of styles but I do have to work with it. Today I will share with you my experience with the L'ange Le'Duo curling tool. Will I like the results or not?

You know, MaryAnn, I've had a tough time getting back into my groove as well. I used to distribute coconut oil throughout my hair & then wait an hour or two before washing it; I'd do that about once a week. When I washed my hair midweek, I often used something like Suave Naturals conditioner (which worked wonderfully well due to its consistency being almost like a creme rinse) as a cowash. For my normal deep clean, I'd use Pura D'Or shampoo & conditioner. In all cases I use a touch of that conditioner as a leave-in. My stylist always commented on the health of my hair. I'd gotten off-track, & *just before* watching this I finally used my old routine. My hair's similar to yours in that we're both salt & pepper & we have some straight/some wave in our hair. *Already* I feel better. You're looking good! Blessings! Jackie in upstate NY

Thanks for the info. Lately, it has been hard to stay on track. Thanks for reminding me of the coconut oil as I haven’t done that in a while. I have been using another product but coconut oil is awesome. I’m going to do it tomorrow if all is well here. Have a great week.

Thank you. I don’t know what it is about red but it does make you feel better and put together. I like to change the style up at times as it stops me from making a change that is too drastic cuz I’ve been known to do that.

Thank you. It took me a while to get used to red but a few years ago I just started to go bold I think because I was growing my hair out and I needed a diversion so I wouldn’t focus on the crazy on top of my hair with the grow out.

Good morning from Michigan MaryAnn!☀️ I totally agree with the your feelings along the gray hair journey. Sounds like we have similarities in hair and texture. It's all good for the most part but as soon as I think I have found the right product, way of styling or finally got down how many days to skip before washing my gray says, nope, change it up a bit. No regrets-just some hiccups. It's been 19 months since last colored. Anyway, now I am wondering whether to have my stylist give me bangs. I like to dry my hair smooth with some waves in it (otherwise it's can be quite curly) and if I choose bangs, no matter the product, do I want to deal with curl up in humid weather(?). But I need to change something & I don't want to cut my length. Maybe more texturizing??? Yup online pictures will be taking with me, ha! Loved your hair hair everywhere rant! So true! Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate it so much. I WAS SORRY when I cut my side bangs, but this is how I look at it. Sometimes you need a change, even a slight one. I feel like even though I wished I wouldn’t have done it, I still did enjoy the slight change. So, I think sometimes you have have to make a little change but bangs can be a big deal. So, now that I totally was all over the board, I hope you get what I mean. Basically think it through. Ask your hairdresser. Mine said you won’t like it . . .she was kind of right cuz now it’s growing back out. I think a French cut bob is neat. It is a bob with texturizing and a side bang. I’ve been looking but also talking myself out of it at this point. 😳

@@AgingGracefully It's great you had time to reply- Thanks, yes, I am anxious about this appointment (Feb9) because I want a change in the style so badly but I know all too well the consequences if I make a wrong move, lol, it's only hair but...just want to find my look I'm looking for-whatever that is.😊 ✝️💟

Very cute. I assume you can use that as a flat iron also? I have a Lange wand but you cannot change the heat setting, it only has one heat setting which is 430 I think so I never use it.

This does have different temps and yes the actual heating element is flat and not rounded.

Thanks for the demo. I just got this tool and I'm having trouble keeping it to the right temperature. As I use it I am touching the handle where the temperature buttons are. That changes the temperature without my realization. I already melted a wig the second curl I made because of this. Is my unit defective or are you experiencing that too? What would you suggest?

Yes. I realized after using it the same thing would happen. I just make sure I place my hands in a way that I don’t touch while working it and I just keep it in mind. After a few uses, I was able to get used to it. Hope that helps.

Wow for 3rd day hair I have to say you look wonderful dawling!! My hair becomes a rats nest if I go 3 days. I wash every other day. I am liking that curler, maybe for mother's day. Wait valentines day is coming up. Oh well does it really matter. If I really want something I buy it, hubby spoils me. Lucky me and I know it. Love the lips, it looks so good on you. Thanks Patty. Yep, it is nice to get spoiled. My hubby says, hmm, what mew and wonderful thing did I buy you today? I just smile and then go into great detail. He says . . . As long as you are 😊 happy! You have to keep those good hubby guys.
