Tow Hooks Installation on a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee

This is a fairly easy installation of the Rough Country Tow Hooks on a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude. I had to cut out the lower grill for the Tow Hooks to be mounted. Older models of the Grand Cherokee have knock out pieces. There is also an option to buy the lower grill with the cutouts already open.

Hey bud great video. On the portion that you cut (the lower bumper shroud) go get some door edging. It's the plastic strip that you put on the edge of the door so you don't hit other people's doors. I think it would make it look really clean if you put that on around the cut portion. you could also use a hair dryer or heat gun to warm it up a little bit so you get a real snug fit.

Thanks. I've already replaced the GC with a 2021 Ran Laramie. BTW, it needs tow hooks also. Video to follow in the near future.

You can install windlace around the edge of the openings and, thereby, give it a factory finish / look.

That looks really nice. I seen a Jeep earlier that was interesting in getting but, I just can't seem to find it. Looks a lot like yours (Included the red hooks) Just not sure if that came stock on some models. Really wished I had took a picture of it.

Mine is an Altitude package. Some more expensive ones may have the tow hooks included.

What you are probably talking about is the Overland or Trailhawk trim. Both come with factory two hooks installed that are painted red.

It's the factory sensor that's used to dim the high beams along with forward collision prevention and cruise control use. I'm guessing about these.

I used a utility knife. I made sure to use a new razor blade.

I would guess at least $200 not counting the cost of tow hooks.
