It was Yagoo the boss, A-chan the staff, and then the members. You think of the company, you get picture of Yagoo. Staff and management, A-chan, although now we have Nodoka who has been taking over her work for the past few months. And then we have the talents themselves as the streamers.

@@necomata105 Yes, 2 years, but he meant that during A-chan’s absence, Nodoka filled in. Now it’s a permanent position for Nodoka until a new kouhai is introduced.

He just went in and saved every little kawaii orphans kids. I didn't know Axel have that kind of stamina and breath control. Axel is such a man, man. Girls should get to know him first. Thanks Axel

Tbf, Holomems probably can still contacting and meet with A-chan regularly, as friend not coworker. Which is why they take this lightly We fans are the lost one here!!!!

@@hafirenggayuda Exactly, those talents that became her and Sora's friends will be able to meet up with her whenever A-chan can get away from her family issues. While no one knows except probably a couple people in management (Yagoo, the HR director, Nodoka, and of course Sora) I am assuming that it is a direct family member like a grandmom or her mom herself that got really ill. And from the sounds of it the condition could clear up but after the 3 months probably not. I assume that if Sora takes time off it will be to go visit A-chan, at least this first year, and catch up with her and make sure A-chan's needs are being met because people very often do without when others get ill.

I saw it on Twitter X and all of the other Hololive Idols did a good job sending messages for A-chan. 7 long years what a wild ride for A-chan, But she is a Fan now and she will be cheering for everyone in Hololive

I saw A-chan's post right after I woke up... A-chan is one of the pillar of Hololive, I still remember the stream where Sora-chan and A-chan playing Minecraft on the first Holoserver. A-chan is always no.1 staff in Hololive! I wish her the best for her future endeavors.

Okay, hear me out. A-chan wasn't a talent but a staff. She didn't graduate, she retired. That means, it's highly possible for A-chan to be re-hired as staff, considering how capable she is, after she sorted out her family matters. It may take years, but the chances are there. But right now, let's just wish for the best for her future.

She's retiring, meaning she's not planning to come back. No need to cope, she's just moving on with her life. Or in case you didn't get it, she's starting a family. It's usual for Japanese people, especially who worked on entertainment industry, to retire (fully and never to return) so that they can move on living their family life. You guys overseas are weird, it's as if you want to torture her and chain her up to the job for eternity.

@vterans8804 if she's starting a family, I would think she wouldn't have taken an initial break (maternity leave) only to fully retire and not just move positions within the company. Unless she thought she would want to return only to realize after the kid was born she wants to dedicate all of her time to that. That's entirely possible. Personally, unless family health issues is always code within the japanese entertainment industry for starting a family and thus would be read as such, I would think she would think she would have gone with a different excuse so as to not make fans think her parents or somebody is critically I'll.

I looked at Twitter 8 hours ago and there were tweets from Nenechi, one of them translated to english had me worried, as it talked about someone not being there anymore. Then.... Itori posted A-chans letter, both the JP and the English version. I was at work.... I kinda stopped functioning for a few minutes. 😬 Fortunately nothing happened in those few minutes and there was no one around to bother me. Sometimes you just get lucky I guess.

She does resign for now because she needs to focus on taking care of her sickly family member. But after that? Who knows, chance of her getting re-hired as Staff is not zero. She is super duper competent after all.
