(In the name of Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful) . The relativity of time is a proven scientific fact today. In the early years of the 20th century, Einstein presented the theory of relativity. Until then, people did not know that time was a relative concept, and that it could change according to the environment. Albert Einstein showed that time is dependent on mass and velocity. In the history of mankind, no one had expressed this fact clearly before. With one exception however, In the Quran, Allah talks about time's being relative in the following verses: "They ask you to hasten the punishment. Allah will not break His promise. A day with your Lord is equivalent to a thousand years in the way you count." (Quran 22:47) "He directs the whole affair from heaven to earth. Then it will again ascend to Him on a Day whose length is a thousand years by the way you measure." (Quran 32:5) "The angels and the Spirit ascend to Him in a day whose length is fifty thousand years." (Quran 70:4) The following verse indicates that people perceive time differently and that people may perceive a short period of time as a lengthy one. "He will say, 'How many years did you tarry on the earth?' They will say, 'We tarried there for a day or part of a day. Ask those able to count!' He will say, 'You only tarried there for a little while if you did but know!" (Quran 23:12) The fact that the relativity of time is mentioned clearly in the Quran, which was revealed 1400 years ago, is another evidence that it is the word of Allah.

*WHY DID ALLAH SUBHANAHU WATA AALA CREATE THIS WAY NOT THAT WAY* The answer from any decent self-respecting man who understands his limits and the grandeur of the eternal creator we are talking about here should be nothing other than this: *It‟s none of your bloody business* ! This question comes from the pagan imagery they hold of the creator which insists on limiting Him to the likeness of a human being! They insist on thinking of Him as part of the chain of regress of causes! They need to get it into their heads that we are talking about an ETERNAL creator that had no beginning, and has no end! If you could imagine a single point of reference in the scope of existence of such a being to which you could relate this or that event and thus wonder why He didn‟t do it any earlier, then your question may make some sense! But there is no such a reference of time to which He is to be bound like we are! We only understand time through our created universe! And when He tells us in His book about events that took place fifty thousand years before the creation of the universe - for example -this is the creator of our understanding of time, giving us a measure of time that we can understand through the only frame of reference that we can think of when we measure time! Allah SWT is not some old man who is to be asked - for example: *why did you create this universe at this point of your “life” not when you were younger or older” for example* ! Praised be His almighty self! *It needs to be established that certain questions are not to be asked! Not only because they could not be answered by any knowledge we could possibly afford, and not only because the question itself may not make any sense at all (like this silly question here), but because it is simply wrong to ask them* ! *(_It is irrelevant to what we are here to do! We should observe humility with our creator and only ask about what we really need to know; and we should expect that only in His complete revelation would we find such an answer if indeed we needed it for the purpose of our creation! Wisdom is to know the right question to ask, and what to do with its answer_)* !

For God it was only 13.7 million years ...

Allah created our universe including the laws of physics, so it'd be weird for Allah to create the laws of physics that means 13.8 billion years is the needed time for our planet to cool down etc. Also to Allah that was less than a week in throne time so it's all relative.

Simple fact: This world doesn’t effect Allah coz He is the one who created it, example the concepts we human all know like time, space, matter and dimensions. this is only valid for us and creatures who are in this world. You can say the Jinn lives in another dimensions and So the Angels and may be other who we don't know and see. Edit : for all my Muslims friends, when any athiest says sceince and Islam cannot work together, just say this - Science is just a word but the knowledge of sceince is created by the Allah.
