Do it a few times and it’s just as quick to me as doing a 3 and 3. Looks really nice with several in a basket by the shower or tub, or stacked by the pool.

I'll try it, but I noticed the edges were not touching once the towel was rolled up and tucked. If that's the norm, I know that unevenness will drive me crazy. I guess that's the OCD in me. 🙂

I COMPLETELY AGREE !! Just seeing her hold that towel and call it perfect, superior or whatever drove me !! I COULDN’T WATCH AGAIN !! Update: bath and bed laundry day. I thought about this fold and cringed 😬. However, I gave it a try, my ends , both sides were straight and nice and even ! Idk what happened to her towel. Even Still I undid it, I prefer my fold, seen or unseen. I also think the roll takes a bit more time and area to do. Still much love to this channel 🥰

I fold mine in a double then triple flat fold. All edges/corners in perfect alignment. Even if they are in a cabinet and not displayed. Watching this rolling technique makes me uneasy. Granted… I’m not OCD, I am this way only concerning my linens!! 😂🤣

She didn't show us. You got to fold the end up about 3 inches or so before you start rolling it up.

I fold my towels the best way to take up depth on the shelf. In this house I fold the bath towels in half and then half again. My hand towels I fold in thirds the long way and then in half. They both fit the whole depth of the shelf. I have 4 sets of bath towels. I rotate them from the bottom and put clean ones on the top, easier to put away. The roll would be good for going to the beach.

We have our own towels in our own colors and manage them on our own. I like this method because you can stand the towels on end and pick the one you want, or grab one from the bottom of a stack without unfolding anything else

I know that first fold as a flag-fold. It's the fold I learned in cub scouts way back in the early seventies. Also did it in school.

Yeah we only did towels up front like that. Nobody has time to roll towels while standing up and trying to load the washer, empty the dryer, inhale something to eat before your double booked 3 o clocks comes in.

@@debbieklose8776 yeah that dang fitted sheet!! I I do the corner inside the opposite corner and do the best I can. I get everything folded except one pillow case. I put the folded sheets and one pillow case inside the other pillow case and fold what's left of that pillow case over and voila it looks neater and everything contained lol

This is life changing because I have done this with EVERYTHING, towels, sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers. I also did this with the dreaded folded sheets 🤯 - just tucked the edges in to make a rectangle. It might not be massively neat but it is a vast improvement from before 👌.

Are you saying nobody else knows how to fold a towel right I've been folding towels for over 50 years, they are clean, they look nice, they don't fall off the shelf, and they fit nicely on the shelves and they fit in a suitcase or travel bag just fine.

My favorite way for big towels is to fold it in half twice and then third it at the final step. This way it has the perfect size to fit into your closet and it doesn't fall apart. :)

Not really practical for closets but I do know that if you don't have a closet or shelf you can use that roll in an over the door hanging shoe rack(the mesh one) it saves a lot of space too

I used to do that but I have so many towels and with your method they take up way too much space. I simply fold them in half one way and then the other. They lay flat and I stack them on top of each other. This way I’m able to put them all in the linen closet.

I fold my towels to fit the shelf and I also use super size towels. Take a look at hotel towels, I know they are not being folded like yours. Out of curiosity, who made you the arbitrator of folding towels? While I may sound snarky,, I am actually curious.

I have rolled all of my kitchen towels and wash cloths ever since I heard Tim Allen say “rolled is better than folded” on his comedy show. It’s true- I can tightly fit twice as many towels into my kitchen drawer when they’re tightly rolled AND they stay tidy and in a straight row.

I’ve been “spa rolling” my towels for many years now, and there is no going back! People used to ask, “What is that weird thing you do with your towels?” Until they needed to reach for one. Never again will I pull a square or rectangularly folded towel. And have the entire stack come down on me!

This makes storing harder actually... it makes them bulkier and take up more room then simply folding it. Aesthetically pleasing maybe... but deff not better for saving on space.

Well, I did this just for fun for my 3 kids. They were really over the moon at the pool. Thought they were fancy, and so did their friends. I had to show a couple of Moms. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
