my experience with this tower was ridiculous. in the past, i thought ToCR would be one of those towers i'd just never beat. eventually i decided to try out the tower, and realized that it was actually doable for me. i practiced as much as i could, and on the first day of grinding, i reached one of the last jumps of floor 4. when i came back the next day, i failed the very last jump of floor 4 TWICE IN A ROW, but because of how consistent the first half was getting for me, i reached the safety net. floor 6 was an absolute pain to play, but it didn't take long for me to reach floor 7, and eventually floor 8. things were going well; i was consistent enough to reach floor 8 fairly often. unfortunately, after almost 4 hours on the 2nd half, i disconnected from the game. i didn't really care too much, and i took it as an opportunity to practice floors 8-10 more. amazingly, when i went back into JToH to play ToCR, i made it to the safety net within 15 minutes. at first, things weren't very different from last time. i was loopfailing 6-7 and occasionally failing 8, but because of the new strats i came up with, i passed 8 and reached floor 9. i passed 9 with a few insignificant fails, and somehow i FLUKED floor 10. i genuinely thought i was about to fail the last truss flick, but thankfully i didn't, and i was able to hit the glorious winpad and defeat ToCR. this paragraph is a complete mess but i'm gonna keep it anyways lol
as for my opinion on ToCR, it's not the greatest tower... floors 2-4's gameplay feels rng at times (especially floor 2), floor 6 is just irritating, and floors 7-8 have questionable gameplay. it doesn't help how the music can get tiring to listen to. though i will admit that the tower is well designed and visually appealing
