You forgot that some weapons literally have ZERO plunge attack stamina consumption, case in point, that Vera Nun's fists. She doesn't consume stamina at all, and suffers no damage regardless of how far up you do your plunge attack. Tested it every high place I can get to (Cetus Island, Aesperia and Vera's Tower of Fantasy, Abyssant Haran's lair in Greyspace). i've been using her as a way to go down fast or to save myself at low stamina. The only con is that you cannot control where she lands.

@@Quadrolithium i have a video where i plunge from the actual tower of fantasy with Lyra. But thats not saying much since she goes full vertical. Either way Ankas low stamina consumption doesnt amount to much since she cant travel as fast with it as Dr. Rubilia could.

Or maybe they did prior research, to figured out that A3 in general makes players not spend on an outfit. It doesn't change anything for the f2p people that only cares about fashion, they'd either get A3 or the gacha. But the people that want both outfit and dmg now have to spend more resource to get it, and hopefully swiping.

they make the newest characters don't rly need to be A3 to be good, like roslyn A0 or A1 is enough. Mimi only A1 already strong and she still a relevant unit after 1 year released. Hotta try to make more options for ppl who just want skins and make the unit dont need to be A3 for low spender and F2P.

Haute couture needs : 10K dc A1 character needs 110 rn = 16.500 DC (if you're lucky and win pity) let's say you can pull to 220 roll and you're lucky (winning pity 2 times u got A3 of total 3 copies and if u really lucky and won both pity and got a copy outside pity, u could go for A4) that being said you still need 110 rn which is another 16.500 dc. a reminder that scenario above is "if you're lucky and can pull A3 - A4 for 220 rn" there u go, u can compare how much dc u need for haute couture and A3 unit. 6,500 dc is a lot of resources for ppl who is fine with A0 - A1 and want to spend carefully for another stuff, like altered units, waifu collectors or MC skin collectors. it's a win win solution for both sides bcs they also can cut the budget without A3 skin and ppl who can't pull A3 isn't missing something and could pay less than 16.500 dc if they just want the skin.

And have awareness for the fact that newer character will perform better. If one isn't a meta player, then extra dmg should never really matter in the first place, thus able to use whatever characters they fancy. Meta or match your visual preference. Can't have both, accept that fact, and make up your mind. If you can't, then goodbye, have fun with another game.
