The ambience of the Tower of Terror is so awesone and spooky. It's ine one of the few rides that I didnt mind waiting for in huge lines cause I loved the queue areas

They should have cast members in period costumes during the Halloween season.

They did at California Adventure several years ago for Halloween. I loooooved them roaming around. Every 15 minutes or maybe half hour two of them would go in front of the Hollywood Tower Hotel sign down in front of the attraction and tell a story of the night they visited the hotel and subsequently died. They wore make up that would show up under black light so as the story got creepier the light would fade on showing they’re ghosts. I was sad they never had them return

The one thing I've never seen is those very bright overhead lights for about ten seconds in the drop shaft. Were those a new effect, or did emergency lights kick on temporarily for some reason?

I think it is used for the on ride photos, and now they do the short videos as well so that is probably why the flash was lasted a few seconds.

Are the fog effects in the queue new?

I'm pretty sure there have always been misters in the garden queue since ToT opened. I would assume they are on or off based on the weather, for guest comfort on hot days, and whether the ground is dry and the plants need water.

Its a sprinkler mist they use when its really hot outside

I don't know why people go on and on about the "5th dimension" scene. It's kinda boring lame.

Totally agree. I've heard a lot of people say the WDW one is better than the DCA's (when it was still ToT) and they would say the 5th dimension room is gives it the edge and I'm like "there's not much even in the 5th dimension room. I think the drops at the DCA one were better.
