YT recommended me this video, glad it did. The amount of skill you possess to navigate tight urban roads with an artic behind you is incredible. That section with the roadworks had me anxious with how little room there is either side of the cab. Very professionally handled, great work!

Absolutely lovely to see someone doing a job "properly". I dont know how to do your job, but I can see by how you work and how you store your tools and take the utmost care, that you know what you are doing. I really respect that. It's lovely to see the driver cares too!

The sikh in the video reminds me of fifty years ago. I used to go from the west country to London with around forty drops from Chiswick, then on to Poplar, Bow and Stratford. When I had completed the East of London I would be away up to Kings Lyn. On one occasion I had to return to London to pick up 5 tonnes of paper for Somerset. I called to the address in East Ham and found that their yard was so clogged with parked vehicles that I could not gain access with a long trailer. Also the fork lift had broken down. I knew it was important to get the paper back to my base for the next morning so I started to hand ball the paper on to the trailer. It was early evening and raining. Miserable but all part of the job. Several people made comments as they passed by, one though, a teenage Sikh lad started to help me and then another, I think it was his mate, joined in, again a Sikh. I don't know if helping people is part of their religion. I shall never forget that kindness.

Very nicely done Sir. The Sikh gentleman was as I've always found Sikhs to be. Polite, helpful and respectful. Amazing job getting around the tight streets of old Londinium town. Gobsmacked a bimmer driver gave you time and space where the road narrowed at the pedestrian crossing. Also as you turned right that moped rider wasn't for moving even though they can see you're pulling a blooming massive combo behind you. Evidently of the Jeremy Vine persuasion. 😂

I used to work for a car auction company nd we had the We Buy contract, collecting from near Heathrow and bound for the depot up at Newcastle. The way it worked the more I could load the more we made in commission so 12 car loads were the order of the day and a lot of head scratching as the route out included a bad junction followed by a 16 foot bridge as you were still pulling out the junction itself. The gearbox let go just as I got the peak under the bridge , that was a fun job for all involved as the pto wouldn't engage so lot's of hand pumping just to limbo under the bridge as once lifted it was measuring 16'2". Lost a couple of aerials on the concrete cow bridges near Milton Keynes on the way back north :) Managed to dump the load in the services a few hundred yards from the depot and run them away on trade plates to save all the grief of trying to get to the yard before heading to the dealer north of the Tyne.

Buddy of mine is a tow teuck guy in the netherlands. He had to tow a 25M truck trailer combination at 60ton. Makes it fun to do some roundabouts😅. But we are more used to heavy wheight in NL more i guess. A 5axle truck/trailer can be 50t here. For 60T you need at least 8 axles but most have 9 for wheight distribution. Keep up the good work bud

really enjoyed this video. very interesting to watch. wish more drivers gave way to lorry such as yourself having to need a wide turn, it must be so frustrating to be in these situations and needing eyes everywhere. i honestly feel for drivers in such large vehicles. drivers today on the roads are all in such a rush and dont give way as much as they used too. life on the road as a recovery driver must be so dangerous, you having to load up such a big vehicle'' and having to be under it connecting up to your recovery lorry in these horrible and dangerous circumstances, right next to a busy road! all the time under there you must be constantly praying to god no one drives into the parked up lorry!! i honestly hold my hat of f to you buddy. god bless you, subscribed 👍👍👍👍👍THUMBS UP👍👍👍👍👍 Anthony Derby, uk

awesome video Steve; what would be next level mate is getting a couple of go pros that you can stick to the roof and the side of your cab so when you are doing those tight turns you can show how what's being towed moves through those turns. Not a criticism though; fantastic driving. I drive just medium rigid transporters around the city of Auckland NZ and I find navigating some of the inner cities roads very exhausting mentally. Props that you can do what you do and keep such a calm demeanor.

A great video Steve. I really admire your work ethic. Spot on. Credit to the company. I noticed you were using Milwalkie power tools. What’s your opinion of them? I’ve heard some bad press about them. Sikhs are fantastic guys. I worked along side some in the army. The kindest most hard working soldiers but, don’t ever get one riled up unless you’re a very very good runner 🤗

Hi Steve. Always look forward to watching your videos. I've been off the road so to speak. My desktop had to go back in for a little bit of warranty work, just back the other day. Anyway, looking at that little zero omission vehicle, I thought at first it was a half sized milk float on steriods when I saw how nippy it went round the roundabout. Bet it was doing slightly more than 20mph

I got this recommended by KZfaq. Great recovery job, I always appreciate somebody who takes care about what they are doing and keeping things safe. I have much respect for anybody who can haul large loads like this, I am a big trucking fan and it was good to see one of these big-rigs being recovered professionally. Thanks for the upload, you just got a sub ;)

Impressive! Fascinated that the recovery truck has custom place for removed half shaft. I guess you remove the shaft to reduce rolling resistance by effectively isolating the diff from the prop shaft. I noted on the bus recovery you had to remove both sides. I guess that is because the rear engine and gear box are integrated into a transaxle - just like my 1972 Hillman Imp. Orbs not in the same league as a bus engine!
