From the states we have safety chains and the trailer draw bar is fixed. A flat non trailer brakes a the 7 pin for electric brakes are most common. It's interesting to see how other parts of the world does things.

Hi Thankyou for watching the video. I am aware that the states use electric brakes. the European system ( Over run ) is all mechanical and will work on any car without a controller in the tow vehicle but can take a lot of maintenance. people that use the Electric brakes from the US do seem to think that they work better than over run. also you don't have the issues of an over run system wanting to put the brakes on as you reverse. saying all this the advantage of a mechanical system like the European system is it can be easily maintained.
