Yeah, he says to use books for TH, Lab, and Pet house. All of them are urgent but most people can only have 1 building book stored up. Almost definitely gonna have to use a hammer for some of them

Idk most upgrade guides kind of miss one important thing. What is your main goal? -upgrading everything to maxed the fastest or -having a good village for offense or defense the fastest. If you go for maxing out the fastest in TH 14, you should use all hero books on pets and not use a hammer on spells and also not upgrade any spell without books. There are very little spells to upgrade and even if you are playing ftp chances are high you will get enough spell books to finish all of the spells with books by the end of the TH.

I'm focusing on getting the DE deposit upgraded with a book, so I can spend 2x DE rune + 1 heroe book and 1 heroe hammer, making her all the way almost to 79. Prioritizing AQ first so I don't need to stop going to wars or attacking, since I use QW on almost every attack so I want to max her out FAST. Then I may focus on the other deposits along with the lab using gold and elixir runes.

My guide for f2p players (assuming you have access to 1 book and 2 hammers) 1. Hammer th to 14 2. Book pet house 3. Hammer DE Storage. 4. Farm 1.5 to 2 months to max heroes 5. Manually upgrade other storages, cc, lab, pet house during the farming period

Should Hammer the TH instead of the Eagle i think, most people only have 1 book in tow. Pet house is going to take forever, I am considering using the book on the pet house instead of CC. I would do: 1builder on pet house, 2 on heroes, 2 on IT/builder hut, 1 on traps so that the completion time is staggered.

Always 1st building after upgrading to th14 is the TH is the LAB, second goes to pet shop and clan castle , And at last goes from the expensiest and the longest time to upgrade defense to the lowest

FYI - If you use bowlers, ice golems, hog riders, valkyries, or golems often, the TH14 upgrade for those troops are better hammer value (more DE & time saved) than minions.

Paid for lab upgrade and booked it. Then ready to hammer my new pet house. Hammers don't work on new buildings. If I reversed the order of upgrade I would have both today. No pets for me.
