This music to this day, will still randomly pop up in my head despite having not played this since 2005 lol. The soundtrack in this game is just that phenomenal....

This is the best town theme of the enire game. There is some magic and melancholy in this tune

I know there's a bias with the Tales Games that the first one you play will always be the best ever... But having played a few other games in the series, i genuinely don't think I would have liked, say, Tales of the Abyss quite as much, even if it was the first title I ever played. The music of Symphonia is something I will keep going back to. Sure Abyss and other titles have their bangers - they are still Tales games after all - but their OSTs are kinda meh overall compared to Symphonia's OST. If anyone disagrees, feel free to point me to a better game or OST, if it's possible to do better than this, I'm all for being proven wrong haha

Symphonia may be the first I ever played (and I'm insanely happy that it happened that way), but Abyss will forever be my favourite. I do agree with you regarding the OST though, Symphonia has the best.

Other than Tales of series? Ys series and Trais of cold steel series have fantastic soundtracks.

I don't feel as the ost of both games are that memorable, but I'd say that Meaning of Birth from Abyss is one of the best songs in videogames, it is truly something different and hearing that takes me back to the game, the characters... This song from the video I honestly don't remember from my gameplay, but it is really good. But the story itself from both games are really memorable to me, I really enjoyed both of them, but I'd say Abyss is better because of the develop of Luke that is amazing, it is my first Tales but I think I would think that anyway
